The funds will be used to preserve traditional Japanese garden techniques.
Inspirational, what kind of moss you use? Or, suggest me moss for temperate climate zone? Many thanks!
One thing I notice, besides the landscape, are the various tools used in making this garden. A mason’s trowel, the small pick-axe, whisk brooms, the large waste dustpan, even a piece of bamboo. Another thing is the knowledge of conditions for the specific types of moss to be used. Nothing is random, THIS is an art form.
I always notice that too. Their gardens are designed with peace, and gentleness. A pleasure to appreciate. Peace ✨
I did archaeology work in Japan and got introduced to little carved bamboo tools one of the Japense excavators was making. I got him to make me a bunch and I still have them. The best tools and such craftmanship.
Thanks for the nice comment!😊
It really is a work of art, in my opinion!
Thanks for the comment!
I'll keep working on it! 😊
We have a moss issue on our lawn. After watching this video I’m actually considering transforming the most mossy part of the lawn into a Japanese garden turning the moss issue into an opportunity 😁
Did you do it?
It would be nice to see these gardens 6 months to a year later, to see how they have grown and adapted to their new environment. They are very tranquil and serene.
It really is!
I'll try my best to follow and film the progress of this garden too!
Wonderful 😍
The best part of the “before” garden was the Tanuki sitting on the lantern pedestal. 😉
Wonderful. Love the moss!
You guy make my Sunday mornings very green and peaceful. Thanks very much!
Loved the tip about ups and downs, I have never thought of that. I always wanted flat garden, now I change my mind.
I really like that Jika Tabi shoe.
I guess I want to work with all of you, guys. You indeed do a great job with fences and gardens.
Thank you a lot!
Keep posting videos. Congratulations!
Thank you!
Maybe you are a landscaper?
I'm hoping to do some gardening overseas in the future!😊
What a beautiful place to sit and meditate. The transformation is just lovely, the owner must be pleased with your work. Thankyou for sharing, your work inspires me to make better use of my garden. What you achieve in such small places is extraordinary.

beatifull design! love the moss... i live in a very desertic area but i manage to find some plants that have a similar look to moss and they look awesome in a small rock garden, i just need to prune them quite often to keep them in control.
Oh, I see!✨

Good😊
Thanks!
Nice
Thanks!!✨
Bom dia, Flor do dia!
Always look forward to your uploads. My wife and I are addicted to watching. :) We would love to know how the moss in the tray is grown. This is a critical element of almost every garden that is made and we have no idea how you grow moss in a tray. Maybe it would be interesting to see a video about how moss is grown and used for different Japanese gardens.
Also.. not garden related but the jika tab shoes that the gardener is wearing. What brand are they? It says "JOG". I like the look. :)
Thanks for all of the inspirational and beautiful videos you post!
I found the shoes.. :)
Thank you!
I'm hoping to make a video somewhere on the moss growing scene too!
This is a product sold on this site, but I don't know if you can buy this product from overseas.
Please contact me at marugo-online.jp/shop/e/eworkout/
I will keep working on it!
@@JapaneseGardenTV Thank you for the link to the moss. :)
If you make a video of how the moss is grown I would like to try it here where I live so I can put it in my garden. Very interesting. I do not think we have anything like that here in Europe.
Thanks for writing me back and for always making such great videos. I love watching them every Sunday. :)
Beautiful! And gah! that electric box is driving me crazy. It must be very expensive to move, though if I were the homeowner I think I would bite the bullet and have it done - the view from inside to outside is what most of the $ to have the garden redone were for, and that box really detracts. I guess that’s just how it is, though. And I want a watering wand and garden shoes like those!
Yes 💦.
Of course, the gardeners are aware of this, but there are many restrictions.😅
The Tabi Shoes in the video are sold at this website.
I'm not sure if you can buy them from abroad, but ...
Cześć, bardzo ładnie - ten mech wygląda świetnie : )
Pozdrawiam.
No i na razie.
Dziękuję bardzo!
Będę dalej pracować nad tymi filmikami!
@@JapaneseGardenTV : ) ja tez Tobie dziękuje
Gorgeous transformation 🥰
I think so, too!
Дякую
i’m the first to watch this ❤️
Thank you!
I hope you'll keep checking out my videos!😊
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What kind of Soil was used underneath the moss?-Great work 👍
Thanks!
That soil is called black soil, which is rich in nutrients and has high water retention.
after a year is when you can judge this garden
This garden is for your eyes only. No no stepping on the moss, please! Very pretty.
Thank you!
I'll keep making videos of various gardens!
How much does a service like this cost in USD?
What is the name of that palm in there please?
It is called Kannon bamboo in Japan.
It is also slightly different from hemp palm bamboo.
@@JapaneseGardenTV thank you. As I don't know Kanji can you please let me have the Latin names of both. Are they frost resistant? Thank you.
4 days for such a small garden with 3 people??? You must be gardening with a brush..For sure filming and editing took you much more time...
Yes, it is!
It takes a long time to make a Japanese garden!
It takes about 2 days to edit a single video😅.
