      Inspirational, what kind of moss you use? Or, suggest me moss for temperate climate zone? Many thanks!

    One thing I notice, besides the landscape, are the various tools used in making this garden. A mason’s trowel, the small pick-axe, whisk brooms, the large waste dustpan, even a piece of bamboo. Another thing is the knowledge of conditions for the specific types of moss to be used. Nothing is random, THIS is an art form.

      I always notice that too. Their gardens are designed with peace, and gentleness. A pleasure to appreciate. Peace ✨

      I did archaeology work in Japan and got introduced to little carved bamboo tools one of the Japense excavators was making. I got him to make me a bunch and I still have them. The best tools and such craftmanship.

    We have a moss issue on our lawn. After watching this video I’m actually considering transforming the most mossy part of the lawn into a Japanese garden turning the moss issue into an opportunity 😁

    Always look forward to your uploads. My wife and I are addicted to watching. :) We would love to know how the moss in the tray is grown. This is a critical element of almost every garden that is made and we have no idea how you grow moss in a tray. Maybe it would be interesting to see a video about how moss is grown and used for different Japanese gardens.
    Also.. not garden related but the jika tab shoes that the gardener is wearing. What brand are they? It says "JOG". I like the look. :)
    Thanks for all of the inspirational and beautiful videos you post!

      If you make a video of how the moss is grown I would like to try it here where I live so I can put it in my garden. Very interesting. I do not think we have anything like that here in Europe.
      Thanks for writing me back and for always making such great videos. I love watching them every Sunday. :)

    Beautiful! And gah! that electric box is driving me crazy. It must be very expensive to move, though if I were the homeowner I think I would bite the bullet and have it done - the view from inside to outside is what most of the $ to have the garden redone were for, and that box really detracts. I guess that’s just how it is, though. And I want a watering wand and garden shoes like those!

    • @JapaneseGardenTV
      @JapaneseGardenTV  3 роки тому +1

      Yes 💦.
      Of course, the gardeners are aware of this, but there are many restrictions.😅
      The Tabi Shoes in the video are sold at this website.
      I'm not sure if you can buy them from abroad, but ...
