When I was a child, my father had a Japanese gardener. He'll never know, but his work has influenced my love of traditional Japanese gardening. It's been a joy to watch this video series.
So beautiful! The shadows of the trees on the window screens and the harmony of the interior wood creates such a delightful harmony with. the garden and in turn the river scenery! Wonderful!
Beautiful and inspiring. I’ve just discovered your videos. Thank you! My husband and I are beginning our gardens. We have a simple house. Some neighbors neglect their property. You show us how we can add beauty to our small space. Our labor will give a light to us and everyone nearby. Now it feels possible. Love and gratitude. 🙏
Wow, the outcome is simply breath taking! It draws ones gaze, seems tranquil and very inviting. The moos does make all the difference, I think - being layed out like this, a beautiful river of green, and so refreshing for the eyes! But the most beautiful thing is the shadows of the new maple leaves being cast on the screen doors like on a canvas... and ever changing, too... Thank you again, and all my compliments to all playing a role in this creation.
Thank you for your beautiful comment! You are right, it really was a very beautiful shadow on the screen door. 😊 I'll keep working on making more videos!
The attention to detail, the meticulous clean up afterwards, I'd only hire Japanese people if they owned businesses in my country! I so want a moss garden! Also, please print the names of all the plants you use in each video as it can be very useful for us who are trying to plant our own little Japanese Gardens. Thank you for these videos, they are great!
That’s a work of art and complements the fantastic view through the windows perfectly. I loved the moss in clumps - it reminded me of the top of a forest .
You are definitely spirits of light and with your beautiful works (gardens), bring peace to our spirits, in addition to enchanting beauty and harmony. Congratulations! どうもありがとうございます
Plants - min 2:19 ‘Nanten’ is Nandina domestica (Berberidaceae); min 2:34 ‘Kichijosou’ is Reineckea carnea (Asparagaceae); min 2:42 ‘Yabu Sotesu’ is Crytomium fortune (Dryopteridaceae); min 3:01 ‘Yabu Kouji’ is Ardisia japonica (Primulaceae); min 4:18 ‘Hosoba Shiraga Goke’ is a Leucobryum glaucum (Leucobryaceae)

Thank you so much!😊
I have always wondered would you fertilise a garden like this as part of the maintenance? Thank you for another beautiful garden on this great channel.
Thank you for your watching!!
We do add fertilizer to the soil before we plant!
After that, we just monitor the tree and deal with it!
Your attention for details is amazing! And that makes the result wonderful to look at. I'm really glad that the mighty UA-cam algoritm suggested your channel to me..😊 I hope to enjoy lots more videos from you.

So nice work...my front yard is more or less the same size. I m also a moss lover. I wish one day I could do the same to my area.

I too think I would be happy to live surrounded by a beautiful Japanese garden.
You´re so blessed to have the opportunity of buying moss! not able to do that here.
Yes, it is! Moss might be easier to buy in Japan. There are many suppliers who produce it.
Like your videos. It would be nice to get tree and plant identifications if possible. You seem to be able to fit small tree specimens nicely in small spaces. Than you.
It turned out beautifully! :)

First time I have seen the burlap wrapping the root ball left on. Assume it will rot away over time?
Wonderful creativity and attention to detail. Splendid work!
What is the mustard colored sand/dirt you put under the moss called?
Lovely. What a location! What is the red soil composed of?
Thank you so much for watching!
This red soil is a clay soil. I'm sorry, I don't know the composition of the soil.
