    I give Tallulah Gorge a 10 on my scale. I was almost dead when we got back to the top. One and done for me on that one for sure. Lol. Steps on this one reminded me of it. We just picked up our first travel trailer in Ohio and are camping our way back home. Stayed three nights in Wears Valley TN, tonight in Franklin NC and tomorrow we head for Black Rock Mountain State Park for 4 nights then back home to South GA. We are loving the RV life also.

      We did Tallulah Gorge too. Worked me over, but the views were really something. Safe travels.

    Thank you for sharing this awesome park! Wow...the views!!! I am sorry if I missed your statement....did you say if you have camp at this location before? If not, would you? Thank you!

      Thanks. This was a nice state park campground with large sites - water and electric only. With a two week stay, we waited to late to book. We stayed a few miles down the road at Byrd’s Branch Campground.

    Thanks for taking us along. Really pretty the way the waterfall ran down the smooth rock surface.

    My wife and I spent some time up there during the summer. We were one of those who went the opposite way lol....The good part of that was that we had a nice leisurely stroll on the back side of the hike. Thanks for the video! It made me miss Stone Mtn. BTW, I think Joel has the same pair of Murrells as I do. The orange tabs stood out to me. They're my favorite pair of hiking shoes ever...so comfy and such good grip. Thanks again!

      It's a fun hike. Wow, that back side is burner for sure. Joel became a Merrell convert after a couple of steep hikes. We're both fans of these shoes.

    Now that's the kind of place we love to see. Thank you Jerry and Joel for taking us there. Might even see it in person one day. Reminds me of Fort Mountain Georgia.

    A beautiful place not far from my home. I have made that hike a few times. If you want a fairly flat hike to see the falls you can come in from the lower end. Did you stay at the campground?

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  4 роки тому +1

      We stayed at Byrd’s Branch Campground in Elkin. Short drive to the park.
