I give Tallulah Gorge a 10 on my scale. I was almost dead when we got back to the top. One and done for me on that one for sure. Lol. Steps on this one reminded me of it. We just picked up our first travel trailer in Ohio and are camping our way back home. Stayed three nights in Wears Valley TN, tonight in Franklin NC and tomorrow we head for Black Rock Mountain State Park for 4 nights then back home to South GA. We are loving the RV life also.
Thank you for sharing this awesome park! Wow...the views!!! I am sorry if I missed your statement....did you say if you have camp at this location before? If not, would you? Thank you!
Thanks. This was a nice state park campground with large sites - water and electric only. With a two week stay, we waited to late to book. We stayed a few miles down the road at Byrd’s Branch Campground.
@@iLoveRVlife Completed our reservations for the Stone Mountain State Park, NC Campground for fall 2021....yay! Thank you so much for your valuable information!!! and the fun!!!
My wife and I spent some time up there during the summer. We were one of those who went the opposite way lol....The good part of that was that we had a nice leisurely stroll on the back side of the hike. Thanks for the video! It made me miss Stone Mtn. BTW, I think Joel has the same pair of Murrells as I do. The orange tabs stood out to me. They're my favorite pair of hiking shoes ever...so comfy and such good grip. Thanks again!
Wow that looks like a beautiful park and hike. We will definitely add this place to our list. Hi to Joan. We tagged you in a 40 question challenge in our video. Just wanted to let you know. @Ewio
Now that's the kind of place we love to see. Thank you Jerry and Joel for taking us there. Might even see it in person one day. Reminds me of Fort Mountain Georgia.
A beautiful place not far from my home. I have made that hike a few times. If you want a fairly flat hike to see the falls you can come in from the lower end. Did you stay at the campground?
Great hike! Beautiful Stone Mountain State Park! We walked down by the waterfalls and up the mountain side for my birthday!! What a jem!
This is in my neighborhood, I love stone mountain ❤
Fun place. Nice area too.
Great video. I am definitely adding this to my list before I can’t. Thanks
Thanks. Fun hike.

We did Tallulah Gorge too. Worked me over, but the views were really something. Safe travels.
Just wanted to let you know Nancy and I did Yonah Mountain last weekend. 😁
Hope you all had a great time.
Beautiful! Have you ever been to Max Patch in NC?
I haven’t. Seen in AT videos. Looks like a spot to add to our list.
Any day you can spend a day with your kids is golden. Thanks Jerry for taking us along.
Absolutely Ken. Fun time.

@@iLoveRVlife Thank you very much!
Thanks for taking us along. Really pretty the way the waterfall ran down the smooth rock surface.
Thanks

It's a fun hike. Wow, that back side is burner for sure. Joel became a Merrell convert after a couple of steep hikes. We're both fans of these shoes.

Thanks a bunch. Joan wishes you all,the best. Now...let’s look at those 40 questions.
Stunning! Thanks for taking us along.
It really was something.
I think I would die of a heart attack if I took that hike. Thank you for doing it for me. Now I have the video so I don’t half too.
Glad we could bring you along. A bit of a workout for sure. I’ll admit, there’s a few 5 minute breaks on those climbs.
Now that's the kind of place we love to see. Thank you Jerry and Joel for taking us there. Might even see it in person one day. Reminds me of Fort Mountain Georgia.
Glad we could bring you alone. A fun day.
Hey Jerry, we were at Stone Mountain on Oct. 24th and stayed at Camp Mayberry (4th time). Stone Mountain is a great place to hike. Great video!
Thanks a bunch. We were at Mayberry Campground 2 years ago. Had a great time in Mt Airy.

We stayed at Byrd’s Branch Campground in Elkin. Short drive to the park.
I have always wanted to hike Stone Mountain. One day I will. Thanks for the views. God Bless
You should! It's a great hike.
