Vale's damage can never be stopped matter what you do. Even if you buy Athena shield and Radiant armour both at once, his ultimate can still go over 2000 and just the ultimate.
even worse if u face enemy tht have 4 hero of physical damage so u gt buy more physical defense than magic defense but the problem is Vale magic damage is fking insane and those 2 armor aint nothin to vale but u cant buy more magic defense cause the fking enemy have 4 hero physical damage....
I think the best part of his kit is the movement speed he gets, from mid game he can join fights and reposition at such ease, is so hard to catch him and it's a lot more fun overall.
Yeah.. honestly i think they should nerf the movspd, flat 80 is TOO MUCH it’s literally equal to having 2 extra boots lmao, im not even gonna talk about how easy to get the max stacks..

If the enemies don't have or have only few dash/blink skills, set the second skill to stop-on-hit and the ultimate to area control, it's so easy to get triple/maniac/savage if the enemies are close together.
I dunno, for me knock up works in all situations, s2 and immediate ult and they usually always get hit by it since the knock up, unless I miss the s2 ofc

I started playing exactly 1 year ago and as soon as I started I played against enemy Vale and I was so mesmerized by Vale, his skill and damage. He has been my main since then.
yah, Natan's stack is temporary and you have to jungle to keep a constant stack via creeps. Vale, Change are permanent. Vale being a burst mage, have CC, plus fast movement is just too OP.
Vale is good if enemy does not have ass hyper. Vale should use the 2nd talent emblem. Its better to lv up skill 2 first in the beginning of the game. Clear wave faster. Position of vale should always be behind of someone. Whether its tank or fighter.

After I saw your video about "Why the emblem support may be better than you know", I use it on Vale always and his movement speed when he has full stacks (passive) is absolutely nutty. Because of that insane movement speed, I sell the boots on late game so I can buy divine 1 last magic item to one shot everybody and hurt a lot the enemy tank. I wanted to share this little hint to everybody since I have been developing very well with Vale, he's my very first mage and I have too many golden score and MVP sometimes
His nuttyness comes from his relatively low cooldown cc, movement speed stacks and pure damage. Even with athenas shield he can slap quite a good chunk of your HP unless you're full tank with multiple magic def items. 1 athenas shield, sure survive his combo, but then a good vale would keep poking with s2 and running around (assuming they built movement speed). Full stack vale with some movement speed items I once moved faster than a zilong chasing me with his ult. Against tanks with multiple magic def items, damage is significantly reduced, but he can provide utility through spamming his s2 cc.

Vale is so good if the enemy doesn't have a godly assassin. Like a godly lance. Most of the other assassins can be knocked up using Vale's 2nd skill but this Lance can be immune to anything. And also picking mm like Hanabi, Layla, Lesley,etc against a team with Vale is just asking for a loss.

Did you know? U can actually have his knock up ability and have ult at level 4. Prioritise upgrading 2nd skill and then at lvl 4 u get to choose the ability, u can choose "knock up" and still be able to unlock 3rd skill... In case you didn't know. Also, I think at lvl 1 skill 2 deals decent damage and can clear waves a lot more easier without having to aim ur skill to hit all the minions like skill1.
His skill set is so flexible that there is a lot of possibilities in different games. I just hate that most PEN items are nerfed way back. He could’ve been three times nuttier. >.
Controlling giant areas is just the best, especially against pro teams who can already take care of themselves, vale isn't needed as much, Kagura is definitely the best mage without huge area denial because of her infinite dashes and stuns, vale is great but just more of a raw damage dealer, where you need just alot of control in pro play
Buy athena's shield and your vale or opponent's vale will be useless(just the 2nd skill knock up will be of any use ) that's why they picked kagura with her passive stun ult cc first skill slow, Yve with slow effect, pharsa cc and a area ult that's good in team fight to pressure opponent
He hadn't even played Lunox's Dawn Revelation or Kagura's latest yet, but i just gotta be patient anyway since alot of skins are popping out of nowhere :)
When he get level 8, you should already have defensive items to counter him if your are his enemy. Trust me,...with the right timing and ambush, he can kill you in just 3 seconds if you don't do that😅😅 Vale user here👋👋

I think this is a well known tip but I’ll share here anyways. If you’re playing vale and you’ve built enough stacks that give u movement speed in the late game, u can sell the boots to replace it with an item with magic penetration/magic dmg/cool down reduction
As with skill upgrade, my personal choice for skill1 is the cc type cause it has lower cd, so you can spam it. More chances to use the skill, more damage you can deal. And also it's easier to clear minion waves. The one thing i don't like about him is that his skill2 and ult upgrade (in a Ranked Match) has become a mandatory CC (skill2) and Damage (ulti), respectively, for an obvious reason, it almost guarantee a win. I'd say 90% of my winning rate using this upgrade sequence is very high. That's why at the moment, i'm practicing him in a Classic Match and practice his skill2 (damage type) and ulti (cc type). I don't like being stagnant.

Eudora : Easy, High damage, but single target only. Aurora : Easy, High damage, AOE, but need stacking. Vale : Kinda hard, High damage, AOE, Fast, but cant lock enemies (need aiming). Kagura : Hard, need proper aiming and mechanics, but High damage and mobility in return. Moonton is fair.
As a mage user upon ambushing using vale it's better to use ult(red) before 2nd(blue) cause most likely some mages like kagura kan easily scape your ultimate
Why all 3 magic pen items ? With all 3 and the magic pen in the mage talents u have more than -60 pen. Wouldn’t dropping wand for something else be more optimal ?
Vale is famous for his one shot kill combo, so its better to give him a maximum damage and penetration to make sure enemies with magic defense also get some of his powerful damage. You can also use vale as support mage if you want, just use glowing wand and crystal and the other is defense item
Maybe Beto wanted the % movespeed bonus from wand, which complements Vale's huge base movespeed. It definitely isn't optimal for burst, though, you're right.
It's the speedy build. But Betosky forgot about Brute Force Breastplate, I usually use it to increase my Movement Speed, plus the Physical/Magic Defense.

His ult nothing just deals 240% of total magic damage as magic damage.
Plus 1800 base magic DMG and 1200 base dmg for level 1 :)

Stop on hit also nice if many enemy are meele hero, can melt tank. Bot knock up and vortex also good if you want to keep enemy.
When he get level 8, you should already have defensive items to counter him if your are his enemy.
Trust me,...with the right timing and ambush, he can kill you in just 3 seconds if you don't do that😅😅

I think this is a well known tip but I’ll share here anyways. If you’re playing vale and you’ve built enough stacks that give u movement speed in the late game, u can sell the boots to replace it with an item with magic penetration/magic dmg/cool down reduction

As with skill upgrade, my personal choice for skill1 is the cc type cause it has lower cd, so you can spam it. More chances to use the skill, more damage you can deal. And also it's easier to clear minion waves.
The one thing i don't like about him is that his skill2 and ult upgrade (in a Ranked Match) has become a mandatory CC (skill2) and Damage (ulti), respectively, for an obvious reason, it almost guarantee a win. I'd say 90% of my winning rate using this upgrade sequence is very high.
That's why at the moment, i'm practicing him in a Classic Match and practice his skill2 (damage type) and ulti (cc type). I don't like being stagnant.

Im a vale main. I mainky use the blue ulti and the red razer wind. Seems to be the best combo. Sometimes if enemy doesn't have flicker i use all red

Eudora : Easy, High damage, but single target only.
Aurora : Easy, High damage, AOE, but need stacking.
Vale : Kinda hard, High damage, AOE, Fast, but cant lock enemies (need aiming).
Kagura : Hard, need proper aiming and mechanics, but High damage and mobility in return.

As a mage user upon ambushing using vale it's better to use ult(red) before 2nd(blue) cause most likely some mages like kagura kan easily scape your ultimate

At 13:19 Chou probably saw Vale using his flicker so he took the chance to take him out first. But vales team are great and very quick.
Why all 3 magic pen items ? With all 3 and the magic pen in the mage talents u have more than -60 pen. Wouldn’t dropping wand for something else be more optimal ?
Vale is famous for his one shot kill combo, so its better to give him a maximum damage and penetration to make sure enemies with magic defense also get some of his powerful damage.
You can also use vale as support mage if you want, just use glowing wand and crystal and the other is defense item
Maybe Beto wanted the % movespeed bonus from wand, which complements Vale's huge base movespeed.
It definitely isn't optimal for burst, though, you're right.
It's the speedy build. But Betosky forgot about Brute Force Breastplate, I usually use it to increase my Movement Speed, plus the Physical/Magic Defense.

1.Skill Type
-in Skill 1,always choose the Area Control,as it gives the skill 3 secs cd,and higher aoe
-Skill 2,always the Knock On hit,and combo it with ult.
-Skill 3, it's up to you,if you want everyone to be hurt,then the are control,if your confident enough to deal high damage,then the Damaga
-Always prioritize upgrading your 2nd Skill
-Vale's counter doesn't even counter him
-His nutty
