At least in the states, X-Line is just an appearance package - lift, black rims, black roof rails, different front fascia/grill, smoked/darkened trim. X-Pro, is a little more capable offroad mainly because of the tires and smaller diameter wheels but it still lacks skidplates. It's a soft roader still but can get a little further down the trail. X-Pro also gives you the trans cooler to to get the 5,500 lb towing...except you cant get the towing package right now because of the harness stop sale. One thing you mentioned in the video of this X-Line is it has 18" wheels. It doesn't. It's blacked out 20s. Only the X-Pro has 18s and they switch the tires to all-terrains. I also haven't noticed being able to hear my back passengers better with passenger talk. I think it is just amplifying the front to the back. Not both directions.

What you also should have said is that the “X-Pro is more capable off road SOLELY because of the tires and smaller diameter wheels”. Saying that it is “mainly’ due to the wheels is not accurate. It’s the only reason it is more capable off road. Put the X-Pro’s wheels on the X-Line and they are equally capable off road as the trans cooler and extra 110v outlet aren’t going to make the X-Pro better off road. Towing is another matter as that trans cooler is a difference-maker. No hate intended, just wanted to clarify.
Went to buy Telluride in to a Dealership but they had an bad attitude and said we have to wait for it and also will be $5000 dealerships fee. I went I bought Tesla Model Y. Love it. 👍🏼

One of the most excellent and clean-looking SUVs in the modern era. I love everything about this giant vehicle. One of the best-designed headlamps and taillamps. A very clean-looking car from the rear and aggressive from the front makes it versatile in terms of looks. It looks modern and premium from the inside as well. A perfectly balanced SUV.

Just bought a 2023 sx prestige. Absolutely love it! Only thing I don’t like about it the steering wheel kind of blocks the screen when it’s set to it’s lowest setting. Other than that, I love it and happy I got the prestige version. Also on our front bumper, that random slot is actually open on mine which vents to the wheel well, I assume to help with air flow for the brakes or something.

It is easy for you to say buy this vehicle or not, but in reality, getting one is extremely hard and if you do get one, the dealer has a huge markup. Not paying more than MSRP. Years ago, no one paid even MSRP.
I have the 2019 kia sorento, which looks decent. But I get exactly what you’re saying. Kias are so hit and miss. Either they’re ugly, or they’re fire 🔥
Strangely the amber turn signals and telluride letters on front were the two things that I liked Also its a little thing but shows car manufacturer went the extra mile if they had actual car color on the 360 camera
Just got this exact model. The terracotta interior the wolf grey and everything and I LOVE IT!!! It’s GORGEOUS! I don’t love that they took away the Nightfall package though with the black lettering and I don’t love the new front bumper. Preferred the all black. I never would have ever thought to buy a Kia until these came out. They are awesome! It has some awesome camera features (angles) that I love as well and the key app is a game changer!!! 🥰
I thought it had really good resale value? All the used ones I saw just prompted me to opt for the new 2023 with the subtle upgrades. I felt it was worth it for the price point difference.

I was given what I paid for my 2020 Palisade Limited w/ 30K miles on another new 2022 Palisade Calligraphy a year ago. Not sure what it would have been if trying to buy a Toyota, but I was super stoked about it!!
Telluride is nice but I recently went from a Sorento too the palisade. It was either this or palisade and the palisade looks better to me on exterior now and interior I believe it is better. Is nicer and has a couple more things minor but still. Can’t go wrong with either it’s just more on what you looking for.

No iconic ambers, no real face uplift, palisade exterior is bumped up and interior has always been better. No comparison for this year. Palisade takes the crown.

Awesome vid Mike! Thanks for updating us on the new Kia! I do love that they got rid of the telluride stamp in the front, just makes it more clean. And you are right about the temp controls in the back, Ive seen kids shred the display, so that was smart. I feel like if they make it a little more capable of carrying more than another car, better torque, and maybe an offroad trim with sturdier suspension and more clearance they'd win alot of truck families over. Again, if they get those number up just a little bit more
I would still be very worried about the dealership experience, in my hometown the Kia dealer is trash. I would also be worried about the build quality. Just me though. I would look at the Highlander or the new Pilot.
There are good and bad ones. Our local ones service center is a little slow, but very professional and polite. Thankfully, on our two kias, we have only had minor issues.
Same here. I am close enough to get the Kia forte GT premium. When I see the 7k mark up of the dealership. MSRP+Tax,Title and ect. + 7K. F*ck no! So I end up buying the Honda Civic 2023. Better and Reliable.
All that credit given to Telluride in the intro was definitely the Kia Stinger, but this one definitely came out as the biggest people pleaser as this is what people in NA can't get enough of in their driveways. I'm probably a minority but I'm fond of the amber DRL disappearance in favor of what will probably always be a more premium feel & brightness with the white light. They did a great job on the new front end- the car is full LED front and back from the looks of it, which it never was even on the SX trim if I'm not mistaken. Such a premium cohesive package for less money than a Highlander and probably the new Pilot once that's out. Don't sleep on the underdogs. Nissan has also been on a quiet come-up, though these Korean cars are definitely clawing out best-in-class in a lot of vehicle categories.
Oddly enough, they went full LED up front, inside, and taillights. They still didn't on the license plate lights and the reverse lights. I don't know why some manufactures ignore those. My 2022 SQ5 Prestige also still has incandescent reverse lights. Go figure. I'll prob switch them out on both vehicles. Especially the yellowish license plate lights on the Telly. It is a pretty upscale looking vehicle and then you have those.

This car is sexyyy!! lol at first I was torn between this & highlander. But the deal breaker was the 3rd row. The high lander 3rd row is not what I would call safe nor comfortable for anyone sitting there. Usually kids like to sit back there..I’m an over protective mom…and idk just not enough room. Now..the telluride 3rd row is spacious & comfortable and there’s leg room. I love this car. It’s modern & they offer better trims at reasonable prices compared to Toyota.

People love to compare telluride and palisade !!! But their basically the same company. Palisade is the luxury version and Kia is the more rugged look. I bought the palisade because of better options. But really liked the aggressive look of the telluride. But you can't beat the bang for your buck. The only down sides to these two competitors is they use old school engine strategies and technology. Wish they would update those aspects. Kia is now offering some things they have in palisade. But the palisade still wins with options. But I think it's only a matter of time till Kia offers all the hyundai options.
Would have bought a telluride but they added 10k to the MSRP. Hyundai did not. Went with the Palisade urban. Do I like the looks of the Telluride better? Yes. For 10k more than the Palisade? Hell no!
Hopefully the Trailsport! I’m looking at the Tellly or Pilot.. very tough. Drove the Trailsport and love the wireless Apple but don’t like the styling on the other trims outside of Trailsport.. and the big miss on no option for rearview camera. Drove nice but the steering was very light on the handle I have to go test drive the new Telluride! Keep up the great content!

I hate the lane keep feature. Drives me bonkers. But this is coming from someone who drove a standard patriot. It takes some getting used to also the snow on the road really throws it outta whack.
I actually like this car, considered the palisade but they dont offer this brown color. Wanted a genesis but the price is ridiculous. I can spend less on this car and get the color and features i want for $20,000 less than the genesis.
Telluride will 'massage' your back on the drivers side but you can't control it. Only set if it is every 30 or 60 mins into a drive. Why have it and not let you control it? I agree on the rear seat heating but not a big deal. Also, wasnt important to me to have the power third row. More to break and they are slooooooow. One thing I really wish the Telly had that the Palisade does is the dimming side mirrors. Love it on my Audi. But, Telly mirrors power fold and the Palisade doesn't...

In the States Kia doesn't offer the Terrain Modes in any trim, would have thought they would have for the '23 refresh in the X-line and SX-Pro.

Now..the telluride 3rd row is spacious & comfortable and there’s leg room. I love this car. It’s modern & they offer better trims at reasonable prices compared to Toyota.

People love to compare telluride and palisade !!! But their basically the same company. Palisade is the luxury version and Kia is the more rugged look. I bought the palisade because of better options. But really liked the aggressive look of the telluride. But you can't beat the bang for your buck. The only down sides to these two competitors is they use old school engine strategies and technology. Wish they would update those aspects. Kia is now offering some things they have in palisade. But the palisade still wins with options. But I think it's only a matter of time till Kia offers all the hyundai options.

Would have bought a telluride but they added 10k to the MSRP. Hyundai did not. Went with the Palisade urban. Do I like the looks of the Telluride better? Yes. For 10k more than the Palisade? Hell no!

Hopefully the Trailsport! I’m looking at the Tellly or Pilot.. very tough. Drove the Trailsport and love the wireless Apple but don’t like the styling on the other trims outside of Trailsport.. and the big miss on no option for rearview camera. Drove nice but the steering was very light on the handle I have to go test drive the new Telluride! Keep up the great content!

I actually like this car, considered the palisade but they dont offer this brown color. Wanted a genesis but the price is ridiculous. I can spend less on this car and get the color and features i want for $20,000 less than the genesis.

The new palisade has driver side back massagers and third row is now heated. I would like to see that on the telly
Telluride will 'massage' your back on the drivers side but you can't control it. Only set if it is every 30 or 60 mins into a drive. Why have it and not let you control it? I agree on the rear seat heating but not a big deal. Also, wasnt important to me to have the power third row. More to break and they are slooooooow. One thing I really wish the Telly had that the Palisade does is the dimming side mirrors. Love it on my Audi. But, Telly mirrors power fold and the Palisade doesn't...
