Honestly, I had some amazing extra-curriculars, but I don’t think my essays were able to highlight the impact of my work to the best of my ability - still waiting on their decision but def essays play a huge factor since Berkeley looks at individuals in a more wholistic way.

I did not do excidingly well in HS, did one AP class, SAT score wasn't special. 3.meh GPA. Still go into Berkeley. How? I went to Santa Barbara City College and did well and was involved, then transferred to UCB.

I got into UCLA and Berkeley and seriously your personal statements are key. Forget the private tutors who you pay money to "get into UCLA" Make your personal statements incredible! Also, UCLA is #1 always; Go Bruins. I transferred btw so your results may vary
