Don't use Launchers just for accessing side loaded apps. They don't always work, as mentioned in comments already by many. Instead use Tv Repo app, this allows to create shortcuts for any app you have installed. Later bring those shortcuts to ur main screen.

If you're willing to delete everything on the harddrive to get it working, then try reformatting it using a pc

make sure you are using hdmi 2.0 or 2.1 or you wont be able to play 4k
