The fact that math is so objective is why I liked studying it and got a degree in it. If the math comes out right without errors then it almost certainly is the truth. But what makes it even cooler is that you can come to the same conclusion in many different ways, you can be objectively right but that doesn't mean your way is the only way to do it.
But even mathematicians recognize that there have been errors in the field. If this is the case in math, with all its objectivity, how much more humility is required of folks - like me - in the Humanities?
