Ya know, for an obscure cassette character, I personally would've loved to see Enemy/Microchange Frenzy!
Hoping we get the remaining G1 characters in the 2025 toyline, especially Windcharger, Powerglide, Seaspray and a G1 recolour of Rewind
I’m also hoping for some of the more obscure guys like Bitstream, Sunstorm and the Autoscout.

Soundwave was widely available in Australia at Kmart, for an insanely cheap $45 … I kept getting one every time a new shipment came in so all my friends were sorted out ✊

The next Animated toys need to be Wasp & Omega Supreme. Soundwave & Buzzsaw look great. The other 2 look ok.
Besides the obvious what else could Hasbro/Takara retool/recolor the Animated figures into? Rescue Bots? Other Throttlebots? What about the deluxe toy-based Optimus? what else could you retool/recolor that into (besides Nemesis Prime/SG Optimus Prime/Ultra Magnus)? Maybe the G1 Targetmaster Quickmix (a semi into a concrete mixing truck/I'd say that's doable)?
Personally I wanted a animated soundwave & guitar laserbeak since they started all this 2 years ago. But sadly we've only been getting WFC mold reuses outside the core class.
Unfortunately Omega getting another figure probably won't happen for at least a year from a trademark stand point. Especially since they have other titan class scale figures that need their trademarks updated. Characters like trypticon, predaking, Broadside, etc etc.
Couldn't find ss86 rumble in Toronto. Even if it's not screen accurate it's better than nothing.

For me it was the Go-Bots pack, Soundwave and Quake (my first double Targetmaster back in the day). Might go back and get the comic boxed sets eventually. The rest I'll gamble on finding them at retail somewhere as impulse buys.
Pretty good stuff revealed over the past few days! I pre-ordered Quake, Slipstream, and the deluxe g1 Optimus, as well as the GoBots pack, and the comic two-pack!

I’m so frustrated with soundwave, I appreciate that they’re giving a chance for people who couldn’t get the Netflix one, but charging leader price and he still has the pointless junk on his arm from the siege?? If they had just slightly fixed the tooling I wouldn’t mind as much, but they’re just marking up the price of a figure that’s already overpriced on the aftermarket and throwing in a couple pieces of candy with him essentially. I don’t think the figures bad, it’s just very frustrating that this could’ve been a slam dunk but they fumbled so hard
I, too, don't understand why they didn't remove those parts. Or remolded them into something that makes sense.
If I had the money, I would get Legacy Soundwave, Optimus, and SS Bumblebee. Those are figures I really want. I wish we would get a Lazerbeak somewhere, though I still don't have him.
The dramatic capture Soundwave comes with Laserbeak. That's where I got mine.
I would like acnew Laserbeak and Enemy to go with these 2 cassettes+ the Frenzy and Wingthing from the genselects 4 pack, and the Ratbat from the future target pack.
Nightstalker, Stripes, Glit, Sunder, Howlback, Gsrboil, and the Heavy Metal War cassetticons are on my huge want list. I expect none though.
I'll wait for the SS86 Soundwave, thank you very much.

Studio series 86 I meant to say for soundwave and the same for one of the cassettes
In one of the older livestreams they talked about wanted to redo Soundwave for a potential 86 version. Odds are the Netflix version is being used because Takara used it for the Nemesis Bridge, and decided to milk the mold 1 last time. So instead of just refreshing another leader, to save money for the wave decided to use Netflix Soundwave.
There’s no way they won’t do ss 86 soundwave it will foolish to not have
I expect a new ravage in ss86 in the future just like Steeljaw to get us to buy another one.
If we could get a reissue of Ss86 rumble, then I wouldn’t feel compelled to get this version.
I am even confuse now if we fonna get a studio series 86 Optimus Prime !!!
Finally the reveal I’ve been waiting for!
That's G1 toy version Frenzy colors. As soon as I get the Studio Series 86 Frenzy, I'll have my G1 Rumble (black and red) and G1 Frenzy (blue and dark blue) as they were meant to be.

Cosmos is next years reissue in the generation primes line. So it is coming. Just not until next year sadly. 😢
It would have made sense if they also package refreshed Minerva. But we got Strongarm instead.

Might have to get that Soundwave, if a SS86 one comes out I'll get it if it's a brand new mould. Definitely Deluxe Optimus and Armada Galvatron for me.
I managed to get the Netflix Soundwave. So I also have a Laserbeak and Ravage. I also have Studio Series 86 Rumble. I only want this for Buzzsaw. But don’t think I can justify the cost
I'll be getting the Legacy United Slipstream, the Legacy United Go-Bot Guardians Three Pack, Legacy United G1 Optimus Prime, Legacy United G1 Quake, and the Generations Comic Edition Autobot Flame & Emirate Xaaron. These are all spread far enough apart for me that it doesn't hurt my wallet too much.
For Soundwave I would have liked if Frenzy/Rumble was instead an Enemy cassette repaint.
I prefer metalhawk the repaint but it’s or enough reason to buy the figure again.
Hopefully Buzzsaw comes in a single pack, or if it has to so Hasbro can maximize their profits it can be in a 2 pk with another cassette.
Im only considering getting soundwave because mine is yellowing and for buzzsaw even though hes the wrong color
I ordered everything except Soundwave and the comic 2-pack. Well I tried to get the screamer repainted fembot too, but she sold out before I could. Their anti bot safeguard glitched so bad I had to reboot my phone. By the time I reloaded in she was sold out. Boo Hasbro for your crap tastic anti bot stopgap.😂
Motormaster looks great; really cool! But, I don't really want him; got nothing against him, tho. Metalhawk is actually better than the original Evo version. The goldy-er yellow is better. I can go either way for the blue; I like both versions' blue. But, the real upgrade is the grey, instead of the white-ish grey color. The original, in jetmode, looks a bit patchwork-y, while the United one looks less so. Idk if I'll pick him up, but I might. Maybe...??
Soundwave looks great! The Minicons, too! Glad to see Buzzsaw here! But, Idk if I'll pick him up. Idk. I do really want a new G1 Soundwave that is Voyager-scale, scales nicely with Blaster, is accurate and good in both modes, and includes at least [a new] Laserbeak!
Now we need the other animated stunticons ps i preordered Motormaster,both Galvatron‘s and Slipstream soundwave is sadly a pass i got the nemesis bridge pack
The soundwave is just so lazy. Not only are they giving us a voyager with extra accessories and saying that it's worth an extra $20, but they even put the wrong figure on the box, using the core class render for the front and sides. You just can't make this sh*t up!
Will Soundwave be released in retail stores?

Soundwave is referred to as a Voyager not Leader 🤷🏻♂️ At least that’s how he’s advertised on Pulse UK.
They made the same error on both leader classes on the USA Pulse too. Who the heck is working on the websites? Waspinator?! LOL
