I love the Ohuhu markers so seeing this video pop up really sparked my interest because I have been mentally tempted to try tube paint for YEARS and never dared to because of the investment and today I was just deciding to browse affordable but good enterance brands and I think my search has ended right here. ^^ I love how your artwork turned out!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much. I'm so glad my video helped you out! I find that Ohuhu watercolor tubes have a great mix of quality and pricing!
What? They sell paint now? I was shocked too, very cool. Very nice review, always love your reviews.
Yup! And I recently picked up their pan watercolor set.
The brush that looks like cat tongue and a mix between round and flat brush is called a "FILBERT BRUSH"
Very educational. I thank you.
Great ,very nice friend,beautiful👍😃.
Thank you. Ohuhu can do no wrong.
Thanks for your review and love the painting you've made with the product 😊
Oh you're welcome!
Thanks for reviewing this! I was really wanting to know if they re-wet or not. This video has convinced me to buy them.
I really hope that you enjoy them as much as I do. So glad I could help!
Thanks for the review. This helped me alot.
I'm so glad I could help!
Love how you say it's important to keep them in the same order... then start swatching randomly in the middle of the rainbow LOL
I might not have even realized what I was doing at the time of filming, TBH.
* - * Maybe I'll add it to my collection!~ Thanks for reviewing!
Oh, they are worth it! You're welcome. It was my pleasure to do so.
@@SilverHyenaTV I just bought them yesterday :D I should get it today. Very excited.
@@niervanae3571 I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
Damn 😂your commentary is hilarious. You are my spirit animal no!!!! Spirit human no!!!!! Spirit artist 😅🤣
Oh my gosh! That is such an honor! I'm at a loss for words. 🤪
The orange looks like you may have had some binder separation, which is something that can happen even with artist grade paints. I have had it with Daniel Smith and Schmincke paints, and they are fine if you mix the binder back in.
Yeah, when I used the orange, I mixed it back together and it was right as rain. Thank you for commenting!
I have them as my first set to get me started. I'm still using them 24 pieces later. I like them but I haven't used the upmarket brands so can't compare
I'm so glad you've been enjoying them. Daniel Smith and Paul Rubin's are excellent higher end brands to try out. But until then, Ohuhu can do no wrong.
thumbs go crazy ong in a good way I love ur thumbs
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the review, this set is about $35 here in Egypt and I wanted to try them.
Oh wow! That's quite a jump in price! However, these paints stretch and they'll last a good long while.
Hold on to your hat because, they make watercolor PAPER now too and folks on Amazon say it's good. I ordered mine, excited to try it. There are no reviews of it on YT, which seems astonishing.
Oh... my... gosh! I will HAVE to try that one of these days.
@@SilverHyenaTV I forgot to mention it's in a block - bonus! - and they sell a 2-pack of 9x12, 140 lb blocks for $17. It's 72 sheets total so like about a quarter a sheet. Supposed to be vastly superior to Canson XL. I do love cotton paper myself but hey, everyone needs "scratch" paper just to work out ideas, and I am not a fan of Strathmore papers either.
@@jennw6809 That is actually insane! But in the best way. Next time I'm ready to go on an Amazon bender, I know what I'm getting.
@@SilverHyenaTV I got my paper and tested it, it's definitely comparable to Strathmore and even slightly better performance in some areas. But, with the advantage of being much cheaper and in a block form. It doesn't do great at wet on wet, but maybe a bit better than Strathmore. The paper on the block didn't warp at all. I did try testing a sheet off the block, and naturally it did warp when wet, but seemed to dry almost flat without any help. It seems to have a reasonably pleasing texture, definitely more of a cold press than Strathmore papers which are weirdly smooth. I have not actually painted a painting on it yet, but so far so good. It doesn't replace cotton but, it seems awesome for warmups and experiments!!!
@@jennw6809 I am VERY intrigued right now. I have a fear of tearing the painting afterward, trying to get it off the block. But the whole "No Warping" feature of the watercolor block makes it tempting! I hope it'll serve you well and thank you for the detailed journal entry of your findings!
