@@Fadiopeel As someone who enjoys a good five-dollar word and your tier list videos, I must add my own two cents and agree with these commentators here. Avoiding excessively using overly complex words, when they could be succinctly replaced with layman terms without losing out on any meaning or increasing length, should always be the goal of a good speaker. Even in scientific journals for example, scientists will typically try to only use complicated words when absolutely necessary to fully describe a topic or concept. Trying too hard to sound educated typically results in the opposite effect.
@@Warhawk. I agree! Apologies if it compromised the video in any way, I just felt like my writing style was starting to get a little stale and wanted to try something a little different. The next video will be going back to my normal style!
@@Fadiopeel Indeed. Just wanted to offer some constructive criticism. IMO, if you want to improve your writing for these whilst shaking it up a bit, try saying more about the characters/vehicles (without repeating/rambling), how they differ from previous games and the effects that had on their overall performance (for better or worse), their best/worst matchups in the game, or specific ways/levels to utilize their strengths/special weapons utility. Just be sure to stay genuine to your usual talking style in the process.
If you're interested in checking out some awesome Twisted Metal content that is just as cool and interesting as yours, there are two channels I highly recommend: Tactical Bacon Productions and ScreenSlayer. These two channels along with yours is basically a trifecta of channels featuring the best Twisted Metal content. Also, just a little constructive critique for you...I didn't actually count the exact number but I think you may have used the word "formidable" like two dozen times, a few of which were barely two sentences apart which really made overuse of the word stand out that much more. I'm not pointing this out to be a jerk but it's just something I noticed. Opening a thesaurus in a separate tab on your browser could easily help you avoid doing this. Again, just trying to help. You're doing a great job.
I'm a fan of both of those channels! I think they do a really great job on their videos and they are always entertaining. And you're definitely right, I overused the word formidable to a criminal extent 😂 but thanks for watching, I'm really glad you enjoyed it and the channel as a whole!!
I understand you have a thesaurus, but you really could have made this a lot shorter by cutting out half of the unnecessary descriptors. Still a good list.
Just for fun, try this. You can launch hammerhead super high if you activate her special while climbing up a wall. It works well in the north pole stage. She gets absolutely insane height.
Woooooo Yeah now there’s only two left Twisted Metal Small Brawl and Twisted Metal Head On I’ve also got an idea for you How about a tier list of all the characters that appeared once From every game that is twisted metal one, two, three, four, small brawl, black & head on
Auger, outlaw and thumper are S-tier when it comes to primevil boss fight, since their abilities can displace primevil far enough to cause him to fall out of the blimp Outlaw can rear attack multiple times and cause primevil to fall out of the bounds of the map by going to high
OUTLAW just kills in TM3 hits multiple Enemys at once with NO AIMING and they cant hit back while theyre being juggled seriously I beat this game easy with Outlaw and struggled like Hell with all the other cars
I'm currently binge watching all of the tier lists in chronological order, but I just wanted to say I love the content and hearing your thoughts on the contestants of the series! I'd assume that a Small Brawl and Head-on list are each on their way, but it would also be cool to see a tier list of all the bosses found throughout the series!
You're right, small brawl and head on tier lists will be coming next! That boss list idea is also great, might make some use of that! Also thank you so much for supporting the channel, I'm really glad you're enjoying the videos!
In my opinion, I'd put Club Kid in S tier. His tornado is stupid busted. Not only does it trap enemies in what seems like an eternity, but nothing is stopping you from using rear missiles nonstop against targets to make full use of it. You can easily kill most cars that way or set up remote bombs. But that's just my opinion.
In case you're planning to extend this series to TM 2012, there's a pretty definitive tier list agreed upon among most of the veteran online multiplayer community for the game. If you'd like some added insight, I'd be more than happy to chat and give some of the community's overarching views on vehicles to pair with your own opinions on them. 🙂
That would be awesome! I typically rank the vehicles within my videos based off of performance within the single player modes, but the added insight will certainly help me, I'm sure. The only issue I'm facing currently is that I don't have access to a PS3, meaning I can't feasibly make that video until I do unfortunately
I gotta say for my personal Pick Vermin was always my go to, especially if you can find an area far enough away from the battle to deploy the Controlled Rat Rocket Special
Nice job sir. Very astute observations. Btw, there's a vehicle combat game that I'd love to see your opinion on. It's got a car named Meth Alchemist, Post Apocalyptic Mayhem.
Prop's on giving this sweet tooth credit and a high rating. Twisted Metal 3 Sweet Tooth is underrated in my opinion, and is one of my personal favorite variations. I also love how his special can go through walls. As explained, it can be detonated. It's very versatile. Funny how Mr Slam was Darksides replacement. And Auger is Mr Slams replacement, yet Darkside is in this game too. And then in 4, Slam and Auger are present, but not Darkside. It's like for whatever reason, the 3 cannot be in the same game together.
Specials and generally everything deal less damage compared to previous games. So, armor is really valuable in this game, because it really helps you stay alive in prolonged fights. I'd put Warthog higher, because he has an armor value of 4, while also having a speed of 2, decent size(not huge), special deals mediocre damage but consistent and easy to use. I'd also put some of these characters with low armor in lower tiers, except Club Kid, because of insane special.
Also you dont get enough specials like in TM1 you get Specials every 5/10 seconds depending on the Car. In part 3 and 4 you just run out and barely get new ones
im the only person I swore that sweet tooth was good. Everyone rags on him because he flips over alot but that explosive head is a really amazing special
Auger is the most fun character in this game. The best way to use his special is to drive your enemies into falling for instant kills. Also as far as I can remember, you can spam multiple specials into one long spinning session.
You should make tier lists for other car combat games like Vigilante 8 and its sequel
2nd that!
Yesx3
Or Rogue Trip!
My man went a little hard on the thesaurus this go, but good list nonetheless
I did, I wanted to try and make this one sound as professional as I could lol, just trying out some new things. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@Fadiopeel No problem man! You do you!

Another great list Fadio! But you gave Flowerpower way too much credit... haha!
Ahh you saw it already! Lol was going to send to Discord
"Avid Hammerhead enthusiast"
What a shameful title.

YO please do Twisted Metal Head On Tier List next
I understand you have a thesaurus, but you really could have made this a lot shorter by cutting out half of the unnecessary descriptors. Still a good list.
Fair enough, I just decided to try out something new with this one. Glad you still enjoyed it!
Just for fun, try this. You can launch hammerhead super high if you activate her special while climbing up a wall. It works well in the north pole stage. She gets absolutely insane height.
Didn't realize hammerhead was the leading member of the twisted metal 3 space program 😂
Woooooo Yeah
now there’s only two left
Twisted Metal Small Brawl and Twisted Metal Head On
I’ve also got an idea for you

With skill club kid can be S tier and if set specal near pit it can also followed by Primeval death
Very true!
Twisted Metal 3's physics just felt off. I can't really put my finger on it but every character felt both too heavy and too floaty at the same time.
Id change warthog with club kid. But besides that, i agree. Great list.

I can definitely see club kid being S tier. That special is certainly pretty oppressive when used well!
There is no other character that belongs in the same tier as Minion.
good video but man you said formidable so many times
It's a formidable list by golly!
just wondering if darkside and primeval was actually unlockable and had endings what tier would they have
I'm not sure, I've never played as them before. I'm sure primeval would be S tier, but I don't have a solid idea of where darkside would be
Dark side would be s tier too. Literally a one shot kill special weapon if you land it and use an extra freeze with any other weapon.
Auger special + rear mortar attack = instakill
Decent list! I do disagree with Mr. Grimm though. He should be with Hammerhead.
Thank you! And I could totally see that. I almost did it too, but felt like he was a bit better than those below him

S Tier Maestro?

Outlaw is prob the best his Special basicly hits all the cars around you automatically with multiple hits at once handy in a game with shitty control
Please make a new version of this including Darksider and Primeval, good one!!!
I love the character portraits in this game.
Really theyre pretty terrible
why is the script so verbose
Just wanted to try something different out, probably not the best call in hindsight 😅
He read thesaurus from the first page to the last
You aren't wrong, I went a little too hard on this one😂
Yeah
I suppose I do enjoy thy Content
Cool list
Thank you!
love hearing your voice. great video and pretty much on point with the characters. thumper is my favorite character in this game.
Thank you, I'm really so glad that you're enjoying the videos!
