The very best I’ve heard so far and I have listened to many- I think the is what Sir Mozart would have wanted- the power, the gentleness, the melody, the beauty it has it all
This is so gloriously beautiful that I fear my soul may explode! Mozart was more than just a peerless composer and an unsurpassed artist. Somehow, he articulated a universal spirituality which is seen in this very thread with loving, appreciative comments in English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Chinese and probably other languages which I haven't noticed. THAT is the proof of the value of the indispensable life's work of this supreme artist. More than two centuries after its creation, it still moves, inspires and belongs to ALL humanity.
When i first heard buchbinder years back, play which was at the time Beethoven sonata 8. I knew i was listening to some kind of truth. After pondering for long i realised that he has an extraordinary sense of time. This kind of innate sense I've only come across rarely, like in the case of some African American jazz musicians. Samuel Jones comes to mind. A bass cello player who with the right pianist in a trio format gives me goose bumps and the hair rises on my neck. This orchestra together with buchbinder is the "tightest" you could probably get. The most fundamental component to music is the "hidden" time.
One of the Mozart Concerts, I fell in love with at age 4. My father - as a Philips employee, got their classical Jubilee records with him home. Soloist: Hans Henkemans.
The sublime wonder of all Mozart concertos is the fully collaborative teamwork between and among soloist and orchestra. To experience a great performance where soloist conducts, brings out this collaboration to the highest degree. Yes, Mozart himself would fully appreciate and applaud this great performance. Bravo!
This is the best perfornance of all times ! The orchestra simply plays divine ! The pianist smiles all the time ! And the orchestra is loyal to him the whole concert through ! A pity that Mozart did not move to Russia !!!

Not true! Radu Lupu had more colorful beautiful piano sound than Buchbinder! Radu Lupu more relax than over-rated Buchbinder!!

It is gorgeous rendition. It's the most beautiful and impressive performance.
Finally, Mozart's 21 taped properly, nice to see the Violins scrubbing away at the 16th notes. Awesome! Well done.

Paradigma de Maestría .
Genial !!!
Superbo
🙏♥️
13:28 That's were the true wonders happen. 😲
Incredibly heartbreaking awesome 🎶💔💫✨💖🎵❤️🩹

I don't really understand how one can conduct and play the piano at the same time.
Everyone else already knows the song..... waving hands is easy
am i wrong?
It was the custom of Mozart’s time and several pianists do both now.

Giovanni Donnarumma
Nice version, but Serkin/Abbado one is better
Play at least three keys wrong, do you want to be harsh?
😁
