I think we all can agree that The Fugees joint is no freaking joke!!!! One of the greatest years I’ve ever heard from The Boom
KSU did a great job considering who they're battling. They definitely didn't got out like some punks. Jsu eatin as usual tho. Good stuff from both bands.

It was all the way live. These Young people showed out. I was there and I was at awe, all the way from the Circle City Parade to the Battle of the Bands. Awesome Job! Jackson State and Kentucky State. With that being said, Kentucky State Director Alvin Level he just lost his son. Keep him and family in your Prayers. Amen
Nice and the fact they are young adults getting an education makes me happy. Great showing for both schools and the culture. Hats off...
KSU has shown themselves to be a great contender for a small unit from all the footage I’ve seen they’re clean, crisp and clear, but JSU has the clean, crisp, clear POWER they’re called the 💥 for a reason not just a season 😍🥰😍🥰💙💙💙
Unpopular Opinion: KSU put up a pretty good fight...first 5th quarter video this season that I didn't skip around only to JSU's selections.

Eric Ford it would be good bandwise but Kentucky is just too far for the MEAC which is already a little to spread out (part of the reason that Hampton left).

KSU really surprise me, they came with a lot of energy and pride, this was a nice battle for them, and for there size they are hanging with JSU but of course we know this is JSU, only if KSU were a little bigger, JSU for the W, KSU came to fight!!!

I support all our HBCU bands. But I won’t lie, KSU surprised me in 2019. I been following them since last year. Don’t sleep on them.
The flag girls and dancers together makes it look cluttered.... both teams clearly dance great but just pick one, the flag girls or dance squad, cause it confuses the show with both.
Or they shouldn't be right next to each other
I've said this for the longest time. HBCU's just can't figure out what to do with their auxliaries. I say do it like high school: Wave your flag on the field then play your instrument in the stands. Keep things C-L-E-A-N

This was a great battle musically, both bands put out great songs with an awesome sound for their size. You would expect JSU to swallow KSU with their sound (being twice the size) but MUCH props to KSU and the rest of the SAIC.
Great battle. KSU held it down. They sound really good and represented the SIAC well. JSU as usual sound great. Just my opinion I say slight edge JSU.
Mannnnn.....I tell you what...my family & I had a BALL!!! The game was fyn and of course the halftime show & battle of the bands never disappoint!! KSU heald their own and JSU brought that BOOM!! Question though: can someone help out with a playlist..even if it's partial? I enjoyed all the music even if I didn't recognize all of the songs💚💛💙

Great battle!!! I'm impressed by both bands.
The boom served as usual the jsettes looked beautiful and very clean and neat KSU band sound good from what I use to see I don’t know what happen after JSU victory lap KSU damn KSU dancer in the corner out danced her whole entire team including the captain lol damn love JSU field show and the jsettes show was great too but this was a great battle but I know I wasn’t the only one seen KSU captain fussing at her girls in the middle of the performance at 7:53 lol 👍

KSU has stepped it up a lot, but they still need a lot of work. Of course they were not gonna be able to hang with the Boom, but they did not sound bad. They seemed mostly prepared to come and battle

ksu was good..but Jsu just finished the titans like TSNU,BSU and its was hard for them to get up for a divison 2 battle ..but i give credit to KSU they came to battle the boom..but the boom was on beast mode again..
KSU kept messing up the tempo, and sounded a little out of tune. And the dancers at 7:45 yikes, I was embarrassed. Other than that both did good, JSU showed out!

Kentucky band was good. The K Rettes seem to have more Stingette and Doll remixed. If they had more of there own style, it would be much better.

JSU’s arrangement of Chris Brown’s “Kiss Kiss” is a atrocity. Do Chris Brown a favor and never play it again. I would put this arrangement on the same level as SU’s trash version of Troop’s “All I do”. I know as an arranger, we have our hit or misses..... this arrangement definitely missed it. Throw it away.
