What is LabVIEW | Graphical System Design

Find out what LabVIEW is, how to programme in LabVIEW using the G programming language and how it can be used.
LabVIEW is now an industry standard software package and described by National Instruments who have developed it as a Graphical System Design platform.
We spoke to National Instruments CEO, President and Co-Founder, Dr James Truchard to find out what it is. We then spoke to Jeff Kodosky, and other National Instruments co-founder and often called the ‘Father of LabVIEW’ to find out how it started.
We then talked to Dr Charlotte Nicolaou of National Instruments to find out how to programme in LabVIEW using the LabVIEW G programming language. She gave a short LabVIEW programming tutorial, and then gave an example of setting up a simple LabVIEW program and she showed a LabVIEW VI.
Finally we spoke to some users of LabVIEW to find out how LabVIEW can be used in practical applications from electronics and other development and manufacturing to the 5G latest research.

I loved this video. It's difficult to find a good thorough explanation of what Labview is and what it is intended to do. This video is about the best I've seen to adequately answer those questions.
