Everyone knows that this is like an indirect official goodbye or closure to their past with BI and I'm not crying you guys are😭

The way I interpret this MV is:
The whole story is a reminiscient of their past MVs (LS, Goodbye Road, I'm Okay) with bits of easter eggs per scene. It's like they're being nostalgic about their past, they will NOT forget it but they have to move on. The lyrics is telling us that no matter what, the past they had with BI will always be with them but they have to let him go.
They were riding on the bus and burned it in the end. Remember when they first debuted? They entered the stage riding a bus. For me it feels like they're putting an end to that era of iKON. They're burning it with heavy hearts but like I've said, they need to move on. So that's why they turned their backs and walked away.
The passé/pourquoi for me signifies that they're still aware of the past, even calling them and reminding them but DK had to decline answering so they could focus on what's infront of them. Also, Bobby threw the ring, I remember during their countdown he said that his scene was significant. It could prolly be him throwing their "friendship" ring and leaving it behind...
The choreo itself says about how they matured, they became men (as Song said) and is showing us that things really changed. But they're still iKON no matter what. The gestures are so elegantly done only iKON can pull off.

They really worked hard for this. JAY said that he spent 3 days crying in the studio during recording. And DK's last part was also recorded after crying a lot. They really showed their mature self in this CB. And Bobby's part showed how he came back after all his solo activities. Pls support them.

You saw Nani on M&M while Han Bin left for an immediate escape from those responsibilities? He almost cried and felt sorry towards him everytime Han Bin felt depression. That is why he cried a lot during the recording because the lines are fit to what he is feeling. A good sonh for a closure between iKON and Han Bin. I think Han Bin listens to this song everyday. He entrusted Jay for everything when he is not around.

The phone. Passe in French is "past". Notice that was an "incoming call" from the past(passe). And I think the ending shot of DK with the phone. He rejected the call because the past is the past. This is unfortunately ikon saying "We'll continue on without you but you won't be forgotten".

Not only Google translates passé to past, papago does as well and searching for the meaning, other websites also give it the simple translation of past.
I'm not trying to say you're wrong on what passé means, I just think that's what they intended it to mean in the video..though considering they likely may be sending more than one message with this song, they could be using it for both simply "past" as well as something like "past ones prime."

If you notice the word "pourquoi" with Bobby it means "why?" This song is really painfully good.
There are some parts that remember the era of the love scenario, there are also those that remember the era of killing me which is part of the chorus, then the era of goodbye road image where chanu is at the beginning and at the end and the vibra is also in my opinion quite similar, keep reminiscing about the era I'm ok when the burn is burnt part, continue to fit the yoyo with the flowers, it was the dive era. At this whywhywhy, it's really like making a flashback, everything is like blending together here😭

OMG... the BUS 🚌. That was the main prop when they held their 1st concert. They always say how memorable that moment was...hearing iKONICS screaming as they entered the stage on the bus as iKON. Now that bus has gone and 🔥. Start of new era.
I am not even a fan just a casual listener and I keep playing their songs I love their vocals and bobby's tone when he rap, he's the first person who caught my attention

Loved your reaction. I think this mv could mean several things all at once. But the parallels with past mvs and recent B.I. activities can't be coincidence. The flower wall, for instance, is a direct correlation with the birthday wall art that iKONICS did for B.I. on his birthday. The phone at the bus station very similar to the one in Love Scenario. The burning bus itself reminiscent of their promotions before debut where they were photographed in front of a similar bus. The bus being on fire when their last mv with B.I started with him getting out of a burning car, I'm OK. Even the number on the bus, 7 (OT7) 2 (rap line) and 5 ( vocal line). Add in them dancing on the roof, Goodbye Road, and Bobby doing almost the exact hand motions he did in Love Scenario. Is the water figure actually supposed to be B.I.??!? Plus Flower being their first song about B.I., and their repeated use of Flower in these lyrics lends itself to all of us iKONICS feeling it has to be about him...but then again, it could just be a break-up song which they excel in making. As for Bobby not being in the choreo, that filming was on Day 2 and he was there. I think it was more along the lines of a metaphor for him stepping out of the group for his solo, but also we saw that he was down for awhile about B.I. and was a little separate from them. It seemed deliberate that he steps in, sings and then stands in front of the sign in French that has Why forwards and then backwards twice and then he drops a ring at the phone from Love Scenario...leaving the past and then he's on the bus with them, dancing with them fully back with the group. Passe means outmoded, something no longer relevant. Again seeming to imply that the past is over, they still love him but now they as iKON are back.
And can we talk about Chanwoo and SONG getting so many times to shine!!! Equal distribution of lines, Finally!! Again, these are my opinions, not facts. It's interesting though that so many of us see B.I. in this mv and song. Maybe that's why it is just a song. Maybe their album will be all about them now. Whatever it is so so HAPPY to have iKON BACK!!! ❤️🍀

No their rings from Jinhwhan during WIN was black and they gave them to Winner and iKON rings from YG was gold slashes.
It actually seems gold to me, especially on June part, there is a closeup scene of bobby touching the ring. It looks like a faint gold, and on the time that he throws it the color change probably because of the lighting.

Voooocals! Oh those vocals! Only IKON can bring this level of vocals! So beautiful! I looked up passé’ and it means faded or worn. It says that passe’ compose’ is the most important past tense in French. It corresponds to the English simple past or sometimes the present perfect. Which in relation to BI sounds like IKON’s present can be perfection! Maybe BI will be able to return to finalize this perfection! Another French word seen was pourquoi which means why. A pourquoi story also known as an origin story. Like how a hero came to have their special characteristics. Could relate to BI as their hero during their origin as a group. Loved your reaction!

For 3 years I became ikonic, i really supported them, my bias in ikon is hanbin and when he came out i was very sad, but i couldn't stop supporting ikon even without hanbin, ikon were my favorite idols after Bigbang and before Treasure, this song made me cry yesterday :’)
What I love with YG's choice in choreo is that they never try to do EVERYTHING. They choose choreo that has the most impact with the least strain on their idols. That way, they can focus on engaging with the audience AND giving that attitude.. So, no... this isn't breakneck choreo or crazy transitions... but its very intentional and beautiful. The more I watch it, the more I enjoy it.

Every props on their MV's are representing HOPE. When June says they ride a bus lookinh for that hope and ended broken because it was crashed. Bobby says the sky is HOPE, that is why he keeps looking at it but can't reach it. And that HOPE is somewhat the fact of B.I returning to them. Well unfortunately, he didn't. Sad but true. :( The reason why they've been hurt and accepted the fact that he won't be in the group anymore.
