What a great place to fly. Awesome display of flying skills and the styles, quite different from what´s usually seen on US videos. I learnt to fly in Melbourne in the early seventies and still do. I'll be back in Australia soon.
Looked like a great event - great models and excellent flying demos. Martin, that last landing, power off - inverted till the last few seconds and still landing at your feet and smooth as. Really shows your skill.
Yeah, looks like a load of fun down under👍👍👍…when you fly inverted in Australia, is it really inverted or not🤪 brilliant flying as usual🍺 Cheers from Munich
Besides all the flying and aircraft, I am amazed with the field! So many runways and they are so long! Here in Southern California our runways are usually so short that carrier landings are the norm.
Its a full size aerodrome, in a very small town, with basically no flight activity, so they where more than happy to have us fly there... wish we had something like that in Spain!
Hi mate! Yes! Running very late with a load of videos, this one got edited on the many many hours flight home... Weston will be up in a few weeks all being well!
@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC I bet it’s hard sometimes, but that feeling of flying around keeps that smile going. Then you sleep like a rock I should imagine. 👍🏻
Martin, I have a mate who tried for 6 months to get me to go to this event, we only live 4 hours down the road. The week BEFORE it was on, I got exposed to a positive covid person and wasn't allowed to travel....shame too, I would have liked to have seen you fly in person instead of just on UA-cam. More of that Baby Fokker DR1 would've been great too....she was beautiful.
Aeromodelers hear are top notch arrogant just trying to join a club is impossible unless you have a friend there or you have the self confidence to be able to make a friend so they can approve your application
Always a pleasure to watch your videos
Love to come over there for year and catch all the diffent events all up down the spectrum.
Great flying by all. Love the Fokker Dr.1
Me too!
