This hybrid drivetrain incorporates a 1000cc twin inline DOHC gasoline engine, with synchronous assistance of a high torque electric motor, where the generator is involved. The result is the most powerful factory stock SxS in the world, at 196HP and 184FP of torque, which is instantly available. The range of travel is also enhanced as the engine continuously recharges the battery system to participate with the overall driving range, fuel economy and is very appealing from an environmental aspect. This platform is also capable of operating in "Stealth Mode" by selecting to run in dedicated electric mode.
The Villain features an independent cooling system for both the engine and electric drive motor. Our double oil column piston cooling system and water oil heat exchange system provides the highest cooling performance whether you hit the rockies of B.C. or the shores of Nova Scotia!
