Gemma, the blond character from the beginning, is so far having everyone predict that she's actually a grown-up Little Miss Forge from *Monster Hunter 4* given all the items she's wearing from the Caravan crew like the Caravaneer's jacket and the Guildmarm's plushy Yian-Kut-Ku.

I thought she ( the little girl) was the Smithy in Sunbreak because it was confirmed that she was the kid from 4 Ultimate grown up! Could be mistranslation but I think so.
@@thethunderousstar-knight8010 It was never confirmed that Minayle was Little Miss Forge. Besides, there's details in her actual appearance that don't match up.
Minayle is a redhead with green eyes, and Little Miss Forge is a blonde with blue eyes. Gemma is in fact a blonde with blue eyes- and the other evidence all points to her being Little Miss Forge but grown up

That final scene just confirms, Hunters are just that jacked. They are him, no ifs, buts or maybes about it. Man's holding a giant bear back through strength alone.

hope this is the "wide attack" remake of the greatsword. Greatsword wide attacks always kinda niche and use only for group of small monsters. Hope those attacks in the trailers( the stabbing and then dragging the sword through the monster body) are for wide attacks so it's not that useless.
It seems we'll have the slinger back but without the clutch claw (thank god)

Its really gonna throw me off the Palico is gonna have full voice acting now.
I would argue that Monster hunter: world is semi-open world. The only reason I would not consider it open world is because of the you could not transverse most of the terrain. If the dev make it were we can almost climb on anything it would be a open world game
If that was the GS I can't wait to see the SnS and CB next. Plus how cool would it be if this was a sequel to World/Iceborne.=D

8:20 side quests could work on a mh game
my main weapons are Lance, Hunting Horn and Insect glaive, side action with Charge Blade, Dual Blades, Bow and Sword and Shield.
Really looking forward to how the focus mode affects movesets, especially lance, maybe we'll finally be able to poke straight above like gunlance can when we aim for those higher tails!
There will be actual non-cloth/leather armors, you can see the hunters sporting them in the multiplayer part at the end.
Non-combat NPCs are just sporting regular in universe wear, your hunter is probably wearing the starter leather gear.
Everyone thinks it's Pukei, but forget Pukei armor has feathers, it's not pure leather.
I'll probably be using IG and LBG at launch but part of me just wants to bring LBG + HBG because it'd be funny

In this trailer, we got new counter attack for great sword, Alma made everyone think she's the world handler in her 30s. We also got the ace lancer getting someone to do an expedition. Overall, MH wilds is promising

As a bowgun user, this doesn't look all that interesting. One new ammo type and the ability to swap weapons is just not that enticing, the rest of the gameplay seems alright, but given my grievance of Gen 5 bowguns as a whole, I just don't see much to even try bowguns. I guess I'll stick to Sword & Shield for now.

I'm very indifferent to the game so far. I liked the presentation until they got to the gameplay...
All I see are just returning mechanics from previous games instead of something genuinely unique and new. I'm also worried the game will be like Rise where we have a million tools to bully the monster into the ground.
Furthermore, it must be said that if you played MH4U and find Gemma aka Little Miss Forge (blonde hair, blue eyes girl) hot then I find that a tad gross. We practically became family to her in 4U and no matter what Capcom does to her design - they aren't gonna make me find family attractive.
Lastly, that talking Palico is disgusting. Kill it with fire.
@@MaigenMaylight1- The only returning mechanic is the retractable thing, while the combat system being entirely different to what we saw before.
2-They didn't even show anything that could feed up your worries about the hunter being too op.

4-That's pretty subjective, I personally don't mind the palico talking.
@@Amatsu_storm_approach You mean the Clutch Claw? Mind you Focus mode is very similar to a mechanic in Monster Hunter Now. The Seikret is just a reskinned Palamute.
So far the game has only innovated on the ecological side of things, and while that's great - it's not enough to hold people over who are already familiar with the gameplay of 5th Gen MH.
Also, these are just my thoughts about the game right now. No need to get defensive about it.

As a swax main my heart was utterly destroyed in the first 13 seconds but everything after is pretty cool 🥲
