I rocked a pair of these driving 24 hours to Colorado. Also my dad had a pair of these as his track and field shoes back in the day. I keep a pair of Tigers as my nice sneakers now.
I am wearing them at this moment, I love the real leather, not "PU pleather" like most sneakers these days BUT... the lack of cushioning inside and the back flap section which is very stiff (where the Tiger word is) makes them extremely uncomfortable to my feet. I only use them when I know I am not going to walk a lot.
That's because your feet are used to shoes with a lot of cushioning, if you wear the tiger for a while your feet will become stronger and since the shoes has less cushioning this mean you loose less energy when running meaning you run faster/longer. You will also stop running with the heel forward and take a more natural position this will make you use the natural spring of your feet more.
shoe's great ngl. problem tho, how can I remove the insole without damaging the interior? thing is the insole not really durable and couldn't handle my walking and now its worn but shoe still good and I wanna keep using it but insole won't come off, seem glued
I see you put true to size , and you mentioned that the heel slips a bit you think thicker sock would help & if I go half size up would it be bad move ??
I bought these for 8.5 assumed that my size in this shoes is 8.5 because my size on vans and converse are 8.5 also when i tried the mexico at first it's good on feet but on long walks my pinky feet hurts 😢 do you think i should've bought 9's ?
The upper is extremely durable, the outsole is not. I've worn mine a lot for the past three years and I've stopped using them because I've worn through the outsole on the heel in both shoes. Would buy again if they weren't so expensive where I live. Crazy comfortable.

Sick shoe! But sadly, for my feet, it probably would be bad, cuz im a US 11, and I had problems with slick shoes. They just look clown shoes on me. Also I got an insole for my flat foot, which raises my feet, and probably my feet would slip from it. So the shoe is a not go for me, but as always, great review, and im excited what shoes you bring to us!
I will never be caught wearing this brand haha..I'm sorry. The logo itself is a put off for me. Too many lines, seems confused unlike brands like Puma, Adidas, Nike and many ither brands like Vans and Reeboks too. Just look damn ugly.

Once i got the chance to try them on and they were the most comfortable shoes i ve ever worn. But sadly in my country they are so expensive :(

Yeah its a very raw barebones experience I don't wear them too often but they look great!

Nice vid! It's pronounced O-NEE-SU-KA. I only wear these shoes, must have had at least 5-6+ colour variations. Mega for a slim foot...
I'm used to lacoste sneakers (which has ortholite sole) & they are super comfy. Are these onitsuka's comfy too?

How wide is the toe box on these? I had feiyue and my pinky toe was jammed
feiyue is generally regarded as relatively wide, so you're probably gonna get even more toe jam with the onitsukas.

Went tts, but did experience a little heel slippage despite tying the laces all the way and having wide feet.
Yeah that lack of a padded collar causes to a of slippage.
Absolutely, the shoe doesn’t run that long. It only lacks a certain amount of padding inside.

I have a pair in US 11, and I agree they look kind of clowny LOL and they are not comfortable AT ALL.
Size 13 here, and anything too rounded at the toe absolutely looks like a clown shoe on me too!
