Kerry Condon absolutely crushed her role as Padraic's intelligent, lonely, and dreams of more, but is innately loyal to those who deserve it on the fictional island. Barry Keough can play seemingly any role. He gets multiple belly laughs only to just as quickly evoke terrible consternation at his treatment. From my couple of watches there's zero redundance in any of his character performances, I've seen. He's one of the best character actors working today (killed it in The Eternals & The Green Knight), much less his standing right near the the top of his generation's thespian skills. Colin & Brendan are so great together; this reunion was greatly anticipated by cast fans, incl the incredible writer & director of each film Martin McDonough, who first directed the two leads In Bruges; another top 3 film of the year (along w/Ralph Fiennes who should have rec. an Oscar nom too; it was also Clemence Posey's breakout film. Both are films for thinking, feeling adults. Both, the very different from one another & each borderline masterpieces w/likely future cemented status as such.
I absolutely loved both films. In a time when we are drowning in movies, both amazing and awful, banshees really moved me and led me to watch In Bruges which i loved even more. Absolutely brilliant films
If this person is so taken by the character he can take the time to respect her by learning to pronounce her name correctly - also the name of the island.
Miss McCormack saves her life twice... Saved her physical body... then saves her from a wasted life.
Sweet Lord in heaven, her name is Siobhan (shove-aun)
That’s a stupid unpronounceable name

She was feckin' brilliant.
Yes
When I realized she was in Better Call Saul (Mike’s daughter-in-law) I nearly lost it!
That's right!!!
Misses McCormack saved her life... Twice.
Which two times?
It’s a pretty heavy movie for it being a fucking comedy
Siobháin, pron. 'shiv-awn', stress on the second syllable
One thing I will never understand is that Irish names are pronounced for people in movies but people STILL get the names wrong!!!!! How!!!
"Shavin" 😂 Siobhán (Shiv von)
The wall was the true hero
She is the sibling u wanna have
I Guess we gotta respect mr mcormick too
Siobhan (pronounced sheh-VAHN).
Siobhan is the other banshee of Irisherrin
How are pronouncing her name, you amadán?
Who the Hell is Shavan? Why do people have such a problem with Irish names?
The fact that people more concern about the Siobhan pronunciation rather than the video itself, that's the internet for you.
😂
