I love the sounds, but in many presets the reverb is baked in without the option to turn it off. Mostly the reverb is overbaring and limits us in fitting the sound into our mix (that is the purpose for then after all). Same for a lot of the baked in delays. Please consider employing a switch that allows us to bypass all FX.

Hi, but what is the difference between analogLab4 and analogLabV? Should I use both or is it better to just use the analogLabV?
Man... I can't wait to get my Arturia 49 MKII...! I just ordered one of these yesterday, & my main reasons for getting this piece of equipment:
1) better workflow in my studio, using my Ableton Live for recording.
2) add a bit more space/room to my studio area, & upgrade from my Yamaha DKX-II keyboard.
3) being able to split two different pianos/organs/instruments when recording in the studio & performing live, on the exact same keyboard...!
Those 3 elements sold me right there! "YES Please...! Schwing...."
If I have a Arturia keylab essential which comes with Analog lab 2 can I now upgrade to 5?
I've just bought a KL61 essential and installed the software bundle - as well as the mini Moog plug-in that's on offer at the mo'... what a dream! I had the real thing back in the '80s and remember it well, so to have access to all those sounds in software form, with a controller as effective as the KeyLab is crazy good - thanks so much!! I'm amazed !!!
Thank you Arturia for this christmas present, just ordered a copy to keep my awesome Matrix brute company during the Covid Lockup. We will yet survive this crazy year

hi Pierre, question, can i delete the old analog lab 4 if i have analog lab 5 on the computer, or will deleting analog 4 delete things that analog 5 uses?,maybe an option in arturia software center to uninstall previous versions,otherwise,accumulating all previous versions will take up valuable space on an SSD,anyway,great work guys

You are demonstrating Analog Lab on Keylab MKII, but you control most functions with a track pad. Please show the keylab integration.
It would also be cool to cover these macros because it seems like there's less control over individual parameters in ALV vs AL4. All the sounds are really good though. I would kinda like to have all my V4 factory presets right there as well though.
Yeah we used to have close to 16 synth parameter macros. Now it's just 4 synth parameters + fx sends, master eq, volume levels per part, lots of useless macros
@@OttosTheName I feel the same way. It's like they want to kneecap the presets so you have to pay for the full unlock. I was A/B-ing 4 vs 5 last night and I think 4 is the better build. They may add stuff... We'll see.
Yep, the controls now are useless, lab 4 was far better. Uninstalled 5 already.
Have to agree, the mixer functionality too has been especially dumbed down.
However, having had some time to play with it, the consistency of having quick access to brightness/timbre/time/movement and wetness as you scroll through patches, without even having to consider which actual synth is being played (much less if/where the ADSR or brightness is mapped) seems to me like pure synergy with the quick and creative workflow they seem to be aiming for with A.L.
It would still be nice to be able to compress my reverb in the mixer again, like 4 can...

Isn't it time you gave Impact a quality of life update. There are some suggestions in the forums that are doable and GOOD. Please don't become another Roland that release awesome gear but leave some flaws that could be ironed out by one update. Thanks!

Overall excellent software and sound. I have two thoughts, A smaller/shrunken window size that just shows basic mappable controls. Because Arturia windows are HUGE. And this is my christmas wish... I wish we could see popular presets within all Arturia software (Analog Lab V, Piano V, Pigments, etc) If we had access to the most used instruments, the highest voted presets or instrument combos that would be... Arturia heaven
There is a window resize option, but not a compct view that Iknow of.. That would be great!
Love the new layout! I'm just not clear about why the control of the parameters in Analog Lab V seems to be more generic than in AL4. Am I being thick/missing something (not unlike me, lol!)? ;)
I thought that same thing. Also A4 had 6500 presets and I can't seem to migrate them into AV

if i just bought analog 5 can i download analog lab 4? just see what the other presets i could be missing out on

What would be really nice is to be able to layer 16 sounds like you do on the latest synths. All of these tones are great but only two layers. Even in the 80s they would midi a bunch together to get huge multilayered sound. I have two great synths and both can layer for each midi channel and be patched together for a Combi on the Korg or Studio set on the Roland.
You can use multiple instaces in your Daw. If you use Ableton you can layer all you want in an instrument rack :)

I have analog lab lite installed with 500 presets, but analog lab v only has 437. It sounds like I should have all the ones from analog lab lite too, from what he says. Syncing didn’t help.
Also it’s disappointing I can’t see a large image of the synth, it really adds to the experience for me. Honestly putting me off upgrading to the full analog lab. A full RRP of £200 is a lot (in my opinion) to pay (even the offer price is) and not to be able see a large image of the synth your playing, that they’ve spent so much time on.

What is the difference between analogLab4 and analogLabV? Should I use both or is it better to just use the analogLabV?
Hi! Analog Lab V is the latest version. We've enhanced the whole interface and made a refreshed selection of presets. You'll find less presets in the latest version than in Analog Lab 4 because we thought there was too many old presets not matching our new standards within Analog Lab 4. We think it's easier to find good sounds now.

It should be. I just purchased the Black Keylab 88MKII and after I registered it, it was included in the Software Center
I'm wodnering why I don't see the "Studio" and "Stage" buttons at the top bar 53:00. Is that a known issue with M1 Mac users?
I got mk2 3 days ago. And I missed functions in same day:
- Not possible to control Ableton devices and parameters
- Simple channel switch in Ableton DAW mode
im not musician, but if noob noticed that in first hours.. i think not so good device if lacks critical functions.
Tested some scripts, and even dedicated some hours for Python, but still not achieved expected results..
same here, i can't understand why arturia did this and made keylab mk2 just a regular keyboard that has nothing special to analog lab anymore.
Last hope is MIDI Control Center, a lot of functions, but i don't know if solution exist there..

Desidero chiederle tre cose:1) Se di acquista un arturia keylab mkii 88 o 61 tasti, viene dato in pack analog lab inferiore a V ( non tutti i rivenditori sono sinceri) si potrà avere un upgrade non a pagamento alla registrazione dello strumento*? ;2) la daw data di cubase è lite? Poichè io tempo fa avevo una versione con la key in pen drive su window 7, oggi sono con imac retina ed Ho ripreso da poco a risuonare ( sono finalmente in pensione)n 3) * se lo si acquista di vera occasione (metà prezzo) si ha lo stesso diritto di fare il dowload dei vari pacchetti considerato che l'utente venditore avrà registrato, a suo tempo, il num seriale per avere la "key" per potere eseguire il download? I'm new to the world of Arturia Software. This new Analog Lab don't has the ATTACK , RELEASE parameters available? I think Analog Lab 4 has this options, true?
I have the intro versions of both Analog Lab 4 and Analog Lab V that were bundled with my Minilab Mk II, and AL4 seems a lot more useful because it has more parameters available. I'm trying to figure out if this is also the case for the full version of Analog Lab 4 vs. V . . .

Analog Lab V is such a CPU hog, it's close to not usable at all (on a mac mini, 3,2 GHz, 32GB Ram).
works great on a PC with 64 GB ram why sometimes ditching pro tools for cubase is a hard decision.
