The 2021 Nissan Rogue is all-new, built on a brand-new platform. The new Nissan Rogue compact utility is slightly shorter overall but still runs on the same wheelbase as the old model, providing plenty of room for 5-passengers and slightly better cargo space due to packaging tricks. The design of the 2021 Nissan Rogue is boxier and more muscular, providing a great looking design. Powering the Rogue compact utility is a 2.5L 4_cylinder engine but now with 80% new parts, plus this new Nissan Rogue is 40kg lighter than the previous model. Power is rated at 181hp and 181lb.-ft. of torque running through a CVT. The interior if the all-new Nissan Rogue SUV is a real standout, with a standard heated leather steering wheel, standard heated seats and heated outside mirrors. The base infotainment screen is 8-inches but the top Platinum trim gets a 9-inch unit. The top Platinum Rogue also has a head-up display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The lower level trims get faux leather and the top model Rogue gets real quilted leather. AWD fuel economy is City 9.2L/100km Highway 7.3L Combined 8.3L or City 27mpg 35mpg Highway 30mpg Combined.Standard futures include LED headlights & taillights, LED turn signal indicators, Rear spoiler, 17 inch wheels, Heated front seats, Heated outside mirrors, Heated leather wrapped steering wheel, Push Button Start, Six way adjustable driver’s seat, Rear Door Alert and Easy Fill Tire Alert. NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto includes Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth.

I was looking at the Ford Bronco Sport, but now I'm leaning towards the Rogue SV AWD. I owned a 2012 Juke SV AWD for five years in northeastern Ontario where the roads are brutal in the winter. I never had 'any' problems with the CVT transmission at all, so I would purchase another one in a heart beat!

Looked at Bronco Sport but the luxurious look, drive and feel of the Platinum Rogue got me! No complaints at all…buttery smooth and super quiet. Sips gas and delivers more than adequate acceleration, especially in Sport mode.

Thank you so much! There was just so much info to get out with this new vehicle. The ride is very smooth and it actually handles quite well taking corners with ease. The CVT is much better although I do understand many can not wrap their head around driving a CVT. All we can say is this CVT is quite good. The seats are comfortable and there's plenty of legroom in the front and back seats.

When comparing to Toyota or any other, please also mention the 360 cam, heads up display and the auto pilot that only Nissan has and others probably don't or you have to pay much more for them as extra. Then it would be a more fair comparison. I absolutely love Nissan exactly because of these features.

Great channel guys, I've watched a ton of your vidz.
I've narrowed my 2021 choices to the; Rogue, Rav4, CRV, and the CX5.
    But now I'm stuck.
    - While the CX5 has the best body, the infotainment system sucks.
    - The CRV seems like the obvious choice, but its ugly.
    - The RAV4 is a top rival, but the infotainment system sucks, and its ugly.
    - The Rogue is what I want, but I'm concerned about spending $45K on a simple vehicle, when I could get a used Lexus for the same price.
Information constipation is what I have right now, do you have any advice?

Rogue with the 4cyl instead of the i3 cuz the i4 proved itself, in sv or sv premium. Platinum isnt worth it bc the seats are still leathertte on the sv premium, but the semi aniline leather on the platinum is nicer, it isn’t worth it for 5000 more.

I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 207,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60,000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.

All Nissan needs to do is listen to their customers a little more than ditch the the JATCO CVT. They nailed the design, functionality, interior and value. Any benefit CVT once had like low revs on the highway or smooth operation is now mitigated with good 6, 8, 9 and 10 speed automatic transmissions. No reason why they can't use an off the shelf Aisin 8 speed unit, that's literally all they need to do to make it a solid competitor.

I've owned a lot of automobiles in more than half a century. The only Nissan product I've ever owned was a much loved 240Z. So I don't have a lot of experience with the brand. I did look fairly at a previous generation Murano back in 2012. It was the first CVT I'd driven and it was AWFUL. Its egg shape looked like it was designed to transport a cargo of inflated balloons. All that combined with the fact that the Nissan dealers in my area are all of the "what-can-I-do-to-put-you-in-a-car-today?" variety that meant I got out of the dealership as fast as I could.
With all that said, I have to admit the new Rogue seems to be a huge improvement over its predecessor. The boxier shape cuts almost 3" off the length while improving the overall passenger and cargo space. I'm still no fan of CVTs but there's no question that the design and engineering has improved significantly in the last decade. And the somewhat greater fuel efficiency explains why so many automakers have adopted them. From what I've seen few consumers will see a CVT as a major negative. All in all, even with a 39% drop in sales in 2020, the current generation ranks 4th in sales in the compact crossover category in the US. The new generation should significantly improve on that.
