For your kind information this is not the old Ghoom monastery which was built in 1857. The tourist are being misleaded by the local drivers and guides. The old monastery.name is Yoga choling monastery. Please search in Google.

Tiger hill is must visit place, but all depending upon weather next is tea estate, Temi tea estate is very popular, the Rumtake monastery is also a very nice place.

This is not the actual Ghoom Monastery which is called Yigachoeling Gonpa(Ghoom Monastery)which is situated at a distance of about half a kilometre from Ghoom Railway Station towards Sterling Resort......The Monastery you are visiting is Samten Choeling Monastery....Tourists are being misguided by the Taxi Drivers as per their convenience........The Yoga Choeling Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries of Darjeeling, built by a Mongolian Lama......
