I love the mods you made to the Maggie cardigan, if I knit that I would make your modifications, way more my style! And the hat is awesome AND the salty days sweater - that is now going in my ravelry favorites.
I enjoy your podcasts! I'm also double dipping on the KALs. AND I buy a LOT of Andrea Mowry's patterns. I've knit several sweaters, but have at least 6 that I have yet to knit. Would definitely hop onto a challenge for her patterns.
Hi Rebecca! Love your Salty Days Sweater and I agree with you it's sooo addicting😍 I've just finished mine, I only needed to finish the second sleeve and do the sewn bind offs but now is a finished object and I already wore it a little bit yesterday, when the weather went down in the morning😊 probably my only complaint with the pattern are the sleeves, I made size XS for the body but when I made the sleeves in that size, they were waaaay to snug - they fit but compared to the slightly oversized body the sleeves looked tiny and strange😂- so I reknit them in the next size up. So I'm telling you so that you can be mindful with your sleeves and maybe size up if something similar happens to you too!
Hey Alice! Thank you for being so kind and letting me know this in advance! I love making it ! It is making me longer than I wish because of life circumstances but I am enjoying every stitch! Thanks for watching and have a lovely day!
I’d like to make Andrea Mowry’s Traveler for my daughter, and am thinking if I could knit along with you on a mini Mowry KAL it might have more chance of actually happening! Thanks, as always for the inspiring ideas.
I definitely have a lot of Andrea’s patterns but haven’t knit any of them because I bought them as a new knitter and just never got around to them. Pink Velvet is still on my needles but I’m on the arms now, I have been resisting buying new patterns because I just have SO MANY in my Ravelry library. I’ll look and see which Andrea ones I have that I could work on after this one! I loooove your hat; it was a goal this year to learn brioche but maybe I’ll cheat and do half fisherman rib instead 😅
Hello! Thanks for sharing! Maybe I should do a relaxed KAL for this one since it seems that many of us have the same experience 🤭. I say maybe start one of her accessories and it might give you the energy boost to continue? Have a lovely day!
Honestly, I've never knit Any hat lol I love knitting everything even socks. I think I might need to do some for gifts this year. I think the drops lima is similar to daisy but doesn't pill as much...
Never ever? Omg you’re going to love it! Yes, Drops Lima is one of my fave and I have some for a really cute sweater this season! Thanks for commenting☺️
I’d love to join the Andrea Mowry challenge. I just bought more of her patterns during her birthday sale and the Framed cowl pattern. I see a skein of West Yorkshire Spinners Croft on the board in the background, I’m currently making my first cardigan using the same yarn. What are your plans for the yarn? Happy knitting 🧶 Karen
Hello! I'm in if you do a Andrea Mowry Challenge/KAL. I'm so embarrassed to say how many of her patterns I've got so I'm not going to fess up. But it's a lot. 👀A LOT. I have actually made some, and I've started and frogged some too. Anyhoo, I'm in. 👍
You got yarn from Vinted? I tried to sell yarn there and the posts were removed for breach of the rules. Weird because I actually bought some off there originally 😮
Loving your version of the Maggie cardigan, I totally want to copy you!
Also look how much your hair has grown
❤
Oh thank you! Yes do it, it is very easy to adapt! And yes, we’re in a growing hair journey here🤭

Thank you so much!!! I can’t wait to see how the salty turns out!
I also have a lot of Andrea Mowry patterns! Currently working on The Weekender Crew, which is turning out lovely and I can’t wait to wear it ❤
Sounds great! Maybe we can do a year make along and see if we can knit them all🤔
Thanks for the fun video Rebeca!! I need to look into the salty days as well 😉😉
Megha🥰🥰🥰 thanks for stopping by 😘😘😘

@@movingstitches I’m not good at KALs but that sounds like a nice idea ☺️

Oh I love that yarn! I have used it for Petite Knit’s Sunday socks before and it is wonderful!!

There it is I think it depends how you tag them because the same happened to me! It is hidden in home textiles under the name Laine!
@@movingstitches thank you for the good advice!! X
