I remember when 2 teenagers were sliding down the entrance to a storm drain that ran under an airport. They did it over and over and the one kid said to the other one " Do you hear that sound like a big engine turned on ? " And the other kid said " it must be a plane at the airport we are hearing " A few seconds later a 5 foot high wall of water came around the bend in the tunnel and they were washed a mile down the tunnel at 50 miles per hour and luckily there was a girder platform bolted to the wall and ceiling where work had been done and they were able to hold on to it as they were pushed against it. They climbed up and onto the top and screaming for help through the grate an airport crew member heard them and called for help and they were rescued. Had that not been there they would have been ejected out the end of tunnel and fallen 30 feet to the rocks below the exit

Daaamn that is definitely your most dramatic video to date, especially with the ominous fog rushing out of the pipe before all the water came! I was kinda worried when I saw where you were standing at 6:12 since there's no way back to the ladder, but only then did I realize you were going to walk down the other way... Almost frightening how insane these volumes of water are that come crashing through these places, hidden from everyone's view. That view into the chamber at 20:20 can only be described as rather fatal if one were to fall in. :D Out of curiosity, if you would have fallen in at the same place where your umbrella fell in, where would you end up? Is that survivable, or would you know how to save yourself somehow?
@@shenanigan87 If the flow was a bit smaller than i would have a chance to survive because that water goes all to an opening and outside an overflow sewer. But in the situation on the video, I would survive only about a hundred meters and then get crushed by the ceiling of another tunnel. That tunnel goes all full and is about kilometer long. Surviving it would not be possible.
I finally have time to watch it and i am not disappointed 😉 nice video, the water level rise minute by minute was really impressive. 👍 PS : do a tipee for a new umbrella bro' 😆

Super video! Btw mám dotaz, nemáš nějaký seznam soundtracků, které používáš ve videích? Některé zní opravdu hodně zajímavě, až mysteriózně, třeba jako ten v 22:38 :)
@@bobl78 There is a CSO down the main line. Lot of water overflows there, but also lot continues through the system. Then it connects to another main line and that line has multiple CSO's before reaching treatment plant. In the chamber on the video is possibility to see most water flowing at once from the whole city. All CSO's of the city together can discharge more than 100 000 liters per second during storm like that.
