    Alkan religious works are unique. He invested all his spirit to create these wonderful works and Roberto's interpretation is just superb!!

    Un grande ringraziamento al Maestro Roberto Prosseda, la cui evidente passione per la musica e il pianoforte lo ha spinto a riportare all'ascolto del pedal-piano, di difficile esecuzione ma indubbiamente crea la sensazione di ascoltare un'intera orchestra! Bravo!

    I wouldn't have thought anything could top Op. 66 no. 10 for sheer awesomeness, but this may have done it.

    This is not "bad pedal technique" at all. This requires the highest skills as it requires a completely different pedal technique than what you will see from an organist.

    Another interesting piece in Alkan's religious vein. I feel like these are harder to grasp and rather made to play by yourself (like his prelude no. 25, prier) perhaps pondering about something important to you, but this one actually captures the listener quite well. Another flawless Alkan recording by Prosseda, if i may say so!

    It looks like the pedal is atleast 10cm to low. But the sound is very good. One wishes to have one of these!

    It is a different pedal technique. We organists could profit from learning it.
