Just got an open box Gold Note IS-1000 Deluxe for $3k.
I'm very excited to see how this compares to my experience with NAD M10

I was thinking about picking up a second one for another system at home so congrats on snagging one for a great price 😊 check out the “booster” and “damping factor” settings as I found that they help to tailor the sound to my liking depending on what speakers I have connected. Speaking of which, what speakers are you running?
@@techjourney5383 precisely! That's the one I got, sorry. Haha I have Elac Carinas but now I want to upgrade up to par with Gold Note..considering ELAC Velas, Revel M126Be, Ascend Acoustics Sierra 2EX. What speaker are you using?
Very cool! I run mine with KEF Reference 3’s but have found that they seem to match well with all of the KEF’s that I have tried including both old and new LS50, R700, Reference 1 and Reference 5. I do find that I need subs to get things to perfection so also run a pair of REL S510’s which are a match made in heaven and can run right off of the speaker taps of the Gold Note. Hope you enjoy your new rig😊

Hey thanks for stopping by. Those are the KEF S2 stands. I also added the isoacoustics Gaia which are sitting on the floor in the video. I like the addition of the Gaia’s. I’m not sure if it is because of their claimed isolation capabilities or simply because it raises the speakers closer to ear level.
@@techjourney5383 Very kind of you to reply-- thank you! I see the Gaia's on the floor now ... which Gaia models are they? I have a confession to make. I think I am going to sell my Naim Uniti Atom, and get the Gold Note IS-1000 as a replacement.
No problem! I have the least one expensive Gaia’s. The ones that go up to 70lbs. Please let me know if you decide to move in that direction. Super curious to know if others have similar opinions after owning both of these devices.

hello. do you think Gold note IS-1000 can handle Dynaudio's Heritage?
Should work well. Haven’t heard the Heritage but sounded pretty good with the Special 40’s.
Did you settle on the Gold Note since this review or did something beat it?
Yes, I settled on Gold Note is-1000. Went into detail about the thought process in my last super integrated comparison video.
have you tried sim audio?
Sorry I have not tried Sim Audio but I hear great things about their gear.
