I love how much you love yourself some Jade! I cannot listen to Between Us without tearing up & it's been a year, but watching them perform it during their concert or when they performed it on the Graham Norton Show was so emotional.

To answer a question you asked in the video on Jade’s first verse, Jade wasn’t harmonising with herself, doing the background harmony was Jesy, Jesy did most of the background harmonies on this song I believe ❤️
Problems came to a head when they got together after Covid lockdown to shoot the video for Sweet Melody. Jesy had not looked after herself and was overweight causing a lot of problems with the shooting.
The Jesy thing is layered and you’d have to understand certain aspects of culture, desirability politics, intersectionality, appropriation, bullying and the pressures of fame. It’s so much to unpack.
