It would appear the title is a lure to get you to watch. Edd China is a wonderfully competent engineer. His eccentric approach just makes him more interesting. He and Mike seem to get on fine without each other. I know which one I prefer. Keep on making us smile Edd.
Wheeler dealers was never the same after it moved to the US. Edd leaving a year or so later put the final nail in the coffin for me.
I really enjoy Ed's workshop diaries.....very entertaining.
Ed's workshop diaries used to be entertaining but now it's just repeated footage.
Of course it wasn't the same, it was better.
There's nothing about Ed's life being sad. He got fame, made money and has two channels bigger than yours. What's sad about that?

All I know is, Wheeler Dealer went to hell after Edd left! Edd has so much talent!
No one really watched it for that other fatty. He was merely tolerable between the good stuff, like a yappety advertisement. He had nothing of value to say. Even his rundown of expense vs profit was a total sham, as it always depended on Ed China working for free. Check it out, he always just considered parts cost, and free labor/tools.
I miss Edd and his handy top tips that I use.
It's not just his talent it's his down to earth approachable manner I'd love to spend a day with him in the workshop
Amicans took over, and wanted a "show" here in the UK we were more interested in the actual Ed's nechanics, seems the US program owners wanted the cockney chatterbox who didnt know jack- shit about mechanics!

Sad life? Sounds pretty cool to me. I love Ed. Wheeler Dealers was never the same after he left, (no disrespect to Ant), and he's just kept on going with his own projects since. I just love his enthusiasm for all things mechanical, as I love all that stuff too. I just wish I had his talent. It's true though, as he does have this knack of making all the stuff he does look simple.

why does the title of this video say that Edd China is sad? Makes no sense. He's a terrific fellow. Ths best thing that ever happened to Edd was to get away from Bewer.

Edd was the best mechinic on Wheeler Dealers (no disrespect to either Ant or Elvis). I noticed that there was less emphasis on the mechanial side so I feel that Edd was vindicated in his decision to leave.

To me Ed China was the greatest mechanic going if there was a problem with a vehicle he would look at it saying this is what's wrong you fix like this. As far as Brewer was concerned he was just a go getter and mouth piece Ed knew what he was talking about to me he was the brains of the show Bring Back Ed!!!!! .Alan Merseyside.

Wheeler Dealer's has never been the same since Ed China left. Nothing against Ant or Elvis but what Ed started can not be replicated. Unfortunately the other presenter is just a good car salesman.

Why do they do thses sh1t titles? WOuld be far more honest to say GREAT as he really has and has had to compromise on nothing. Everyone watched WHeeler Dealers to watch Edd and how he did stuff, anyone can haggle. And I cant say, considering the work that was put into the cars, that Mile Brewer ever got a decent deal for the work done most fo the time. The buyer was the winner lol.
Edd was the only reason I ever watched Wheeler Dealers, found Mike B' irritating.

Where is Edd? He has not posted a new UA-cam show in close to a year. 😮. He is posting nothing but repeats on UA-cam. He does seem to post ads on Twitter promoting companies but no explanations of his disappearance. Does anybody know what Edd is doing with his life? All sorts of stories and rumors are floating about him. His UA-cam followers are dropping daily. Not good to blowoff your long time followers.
