Amelia at the Augsburg Zoo

Now that Amelia is getting ready for her next trip, she started off with a quick test trip to the zoo! She did great! She wasn't agitated or scared by most of the animals, she ignored the other dogs and people, and she just concentrated on her handler for the most part. Since she is still under a year old this is exactly what we were hoping for!

Amelia is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that is working as an ESA while being owner trained to be a service dog.
She is smaller than most Cavaliers because she was born with a hole in her diaphragm. She survived all the complications that happened after emergency surgery to fix and is now ready to start exploring the world with her family!

As excited as she was to see the animals, she never lost sight of Jane and kept checking in to see how she was doing. Always a professional!

Amelia looks so wonderful and my Cavy looks sticking her head thru every fence too. What light is bank in her daughters eyes is amazing and I’m Amelia’s. So happy that it all worked these two definitely need more time together. ❤
