Would love for this to be a series, between how soothing it is when youre reading, to how detailed, meticulous, and easily you break things down and explain different things as you read more is just truly incredible, you should be a teacher or something with how easily you were able to explain everything
I wonder which version I read back in the day. It's actually entirely possible that I read both and didn't realize it, as I read it unabridged twice (once on my own time for fun, and again in 11th Grade as required reading). Edit: I almost certainly read the revised 1831 version both times. I would have remembered Elizabeth being Victor's cousin if I'd read the original 1818 version.
@@CalciferASMRYes! She revised a lot in the second version as well due to lectures on the text. I remember this stuff from ap literature my senior year in highschool. We read some cool stuff, ever read “the metamorphosis” or “slaughterhouse-5”?
In my first year of college we read Frankenstine and I remember there was one intresting take from the book and that was it was about sexual orientation and this was a "secret" was of discussing same-sex relationships back in the 1800s.
I was an English major, a high school teacher, and took a romanticism course AND STILL didn’t know there were 2 versions. I loved this video so much!
I’m so glad you enjoyed, thank you so much! 🧡

Love this book. Great reading
It’s wonderful, thank you for watching! 🧡
The world of ASMR became quite a bit greater when you entered it. I’d say more but I think that says it all.
I appreciate that so much. 🧡🥹
I would love a book series 🙏
Yayyy! 🧡

Thank you so much Oliver! 🧡🧡
Finally caught an upload early, guess it's time for bed. 😴
Thank you for stopping in! 🧡
The first version was edited by her husband. After his death she released the version she wanted to, free from his manipulation.
I did not know this! I imagine that would have some validity as she was married so young.

Not his manipulation. Ridiculous slander mocking the love between a husband and wife
@@miles_0234 I honestly prefer the first version. The characters had a bit more agency which I preferred. It's a great story either way though.
helped me sleep ty

Oh wow, I find that so interesting. Never heard of that take!
One of my favorite books. Science vs nature.
🧡🧡🧡
Loved the video ❤ but is it just me or there is a weird sound coming from the micrphone ?
Uh oh! I’ll listen back, is it maybe the crackling candle in the background? Otherwise I’ll play around with the gain on the microphone. 🧡
First time hearing a classic being soft spoken may I add another one either Wuthering Heights or The Count of Monte Cristo
Thank you for the recommendation! 🧡
Way cool ❤
Karen Gillan looks likes 🤭👏
Thank you! 🧡🥹
waddup, mj!
That was great. It would be fun to see you slurring your words and nodding off while reading, your own ASMR putting you to sleep.
I have a feeling that’s going to happen one of these reading videos, it already did in the first attempt of this one. 🤣🤣
Frankenstein is a Jewish name
