This case truly infuriates me..😠 'She showed nothing more than love and compassion, and for that she had to pay with her life..!!! And to think he also wanted to kill her son. What was he thinking?! A mercy kill, b'cause I killed his mother already..?!! Hopefully this guy gets a life sentence without the possibility of parole, because men like that should never 'ever' be released in society again..!!! R.I.P. dear Leticia..🤍

It could actually happen with the additional kidnapping and attempted murder charges. How odd that all of it occurred in such a limited area. He was conniving enough to throw in the red herring of the body location. This freak is beyond weird, the CIA and all that.

I, too, was wondering why he wanted to kill Patrick, her son. I think he may have been envious of their relationship, given that his with his mother was murderous. The love that Leticia had for Patrick, we can assume, was beautiful. Patrick, no questions asked, went with this monster willingly because of his love for her. In the very short time that this monster knew Leticia, he knew that she, unlike his own mother, cherished her son.

    • @GK-mj8bb
      @GK-mj8bb 11 місяців тому +10

@@lilmatchgirl5221 Yes that could've been the reason aswell. Later I even went so far as to think that Leticia might have shouted before she was strangled "Oh please NO, I don't wanna leave my son without a mother" To which he might have thought "Well then I'll make sure he joins you in the afterlife" Everything is possible right..?! But we can speculate all we want, but only he knew his reasons for trying to kill Patrick aswell. Thank GOD he failed to do so..🙏 'Yeah hopefully he rots in prison for the rest of his pathetic life..😑

That’s so weird that he went back and kidnapped her son. I wonder what he was thinking. Maybe she begged him not to kill her because she needed to care for her son, so he thought a good solution would be to kill her anyways, then kill him. What a sick predator.

That isn't a motive though. But it is indeed strange why he went for her son. The scenario that popped in my mind is her hiring him to get rid of her son at first and thus releaving her of that burden to care for him while providing her with the alibi of the game night, etc. When the would be killer screwed up, she got distressed, he still wanted some money, argued with her about it then ended up killing her instead, out of anger or to tie up loose ends. It's the only scenario imo, that makes sense and adds motive to all that happened.

Demons have to use a human body in order to do their evil Deeds how we don't know that, it's almost not even rocket science. The average person doesn't act like that there has to be something in them , and it can't just be the brain demons are calculated and intelligent. The first clue was when he she had to pay for this grown man's food.
I myself don't buy food for relatively young able-bodied men.
She gave him one her tickets to the game and drove him there (he likely didn't have a car). I see her unintentionally feeding his dependency on her.
I suspect that when she finally told this 45 year-old loser "no," it's not surprising that he became angry. He may have asked her for money.
She could have just bought him the food and leave it at that.
She was a giving person, but also naïve. We women should not make it so easy for these sick men to snuff out our lives. These true-crime shows can serve as lessons to us.

    • @loveforeignaccents

@@TheDarkDresser It was stated that she had taken her own car to the game; later that he had an Audi. Don't recall anything stated that she "finally told him no, and so he became angry." And she didn't have to pay for his food to begin with; she was just a kind-hearted person.

@@TheDarkDresserHey, it was a HOT DOG! She was in the line for a Costco hot dog, saw the Mariners jersey and she struck up a conversation with him (as I have done plenty of times) she being a diehard fan. As she innocently took him as a fan, I would imagine that she said something like, "I've got you," as one does - well, SOME of us - and spent a whole BUCK. She drove herself to the stadium. Dude drove a '99 Audi, which he lured her into with some kind of lie, much like he had with Patrick. There was no time to say "no" to anything. Not sure if you were implying a sexual advance or not. The creep never entered her home, until he had already killed her, and came back MUCH later to oddly kidnap Patrick. Her keys and address were in her vehicle. Shaming an innocent murder victim is not a good look.

She took him to the game.
Was the Audi his? Did he have a job? If he couldn't afford a hot dog lunch, I suspect that he couldn't afford a car either, plus he robbed a jewelry store.
You honestly don't see the glaring red flags with the way their supposed friendship began, and, considering how it ended that it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that maybe he again asked her for something again and she refused?
One can be kind-hearted while being discerning.
I'm so tired of seeing so many women ignoring all the signs that we see enough of in these true crime shows. I assume you're a female, so would a 42 year-old male/stranger asking you to buy him a hot dog a man you would want in your life?
I'll read up more on the story to get the details.

Poor Patrick probably has no idea whats happening and why. His whole life as he knew it is now turned upside down. My friend and neighbor had a 20 year old son with severe Asperger's and they moved to Texas...a year later she died and he was left to live with her then bf. He was so confused as to what was going on and where she was. I felt so bad for him. I think his father was a deadbeat and he had no one else. His security and world as he knew it was gone and he just was so lost afterwards.

@@asanta2023 I'm not sure bcuz I never had any contact with the BF but from what I gathered from FB her oldest son who was Special Forces Marine either retired and took him in or he just took him in and just changed his job in the Marines bcuz he was always over in Afghanistan on some kind of mission and would've never been able to care for him. But you've made me curious now so I'm going to try to get a hold of the oldest son down in South Carolina and see what transpired. My youngest was his only friend here in Baltimore for his whole life b4 she picked up and moved to Texas and he was devastated. He was such a a good kid and he had Asperger's along with some other issues pretty bad. He never liked to talk to anyone but he loved coming to my house and talking to me and my wife. He definitely needed a lot of attention. His mother was his world and was EVERYTHING to him and I can't even imagine how lost he felt when she was gone. Thanks for asking and thanks for reminding me to follow up with them bcuz I always felt like I dropped the ball making sure he was in a safe place after she passed.

A person willing to hurt or kill their own mother is arguably the most dangerous person in the world. There are convicted murders in prison who wouldn’t even do that. Very bizarre case. I’m confused as to why he went after the son? What was even the motive for killing Leticia to begin with? I don’t recall hearing one said. None of it makes any sense. Although this is a man who wore the same sweatshirt he murdered a person in to rob a house and department store, so clearly he’s operating with a room temperature IQ. Another example of no good deed goes unpunished.

My heart goes out to kind Leticia and her family. Kevin, you did a great job relating Leticia's story.
