An opportunity popped up yesterday with a new local Brewery that opened. The owner invited me to come help out on the next brew day. In fact, he said he's going to have me do everything! He's just going to instruct me on what to do. So when you said in your video to 'jump on the opportunity' if it ever presented itself, well, that was in the back of my mind. And so I jumped on it! In 2 weeks that's what I'll be doing! Great video Trent!
uh oh you did it now Trent. That feeling when actual people buy your actual beer in an actual bar…. unbeatable. I’d bet that this won’t be the last time for you :)
I am so damn jealous haha, this is such a cool opportunity! It's ridiculous to see the scaled-up steps and ingredient additions. Sounds like you threw together an amazing beer, hopefully they keep it in the rotation! G'day!
I actually had the pleasure to try some this weekend at South O, it was great! Nice and refreshing, I sampled 8 different beers and that honestly was my favorite! Way to nail it!🤙
Amazing experience and awesome video. Keep em coming, Trent! Pls ship some out to DC! I need to hit up some of our local breweries here for this sort of collab … 🍻
Wow, amazing! I had the same opportunity, I brewd 950 liters of my own recipe "Sabana Lager" in collab with PigLove Brewery in Leeds UK, and I feel you. The satisfaction of people ordering your beer pays of the hard work that goes into it. Well done 👏 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Love the videos, thanks for the recipe definitely going to be something I try. Only thing I didn't see on the recipe is when you add the puree. Thanks and keep up the great videos
Very cool Trent! I can't wait for my first brew on a pro scale. You just gave a ton of us homebrewers some hopes and goals. Great video man and congrats on 20k.
That is awesome! Thanks for sharing. I made your hopped cider recipe, it’s ready for kegging but it tastes delicious! I’m actually going down to Oceanside this weekend for my birthday and definitely plan on visiting South O brewing. Thanks for all the vids, I plan on making that root beer soon!
Awesome video! I have been lucky to have this same experience twice now, and I chomping at the bit to do it again!! Looks like you guys came up with a nice summer brew. I'll be trying this on my tiny 5 gallon scale soon! Cheers!!
Man... I have made awesome wheat beer with Fermentis WB-06 which always finishes at 1.010 and is a little tart. I love this yeast and highly recommend it! Ferment at 24°C, it finishes in 5 days.
Ahhhrrrr, this is too cool! I am nearing my 10th batch now and getting super pumped about home brewing! Only problem is I have to travel to a friend's house an hour away to brew, and he is not too available.. (I have a small apartment which is not really suitable for brewing - housing prices in oslo be crazy!) Love the channel and the content- cheers from Norway 🇳🇴
Thats a great question, not sure. I know they have a super efficient glycol chiller and all the fermenters are lined with it so it probably didn't take too long.
Thats unfortunate. I really enjoyed it and much more of a collaboration. It’s a great chance for the brewery to try something different but often they don’t want to take too many risks on us little home brewers
I worked at a craft brewery for a few months but the owner was a terrible boss and lost his good taste in beer. The entire brew ended up quitting on the spot one day. Brewery shut down a couple years later. It was a shame too, the restaurant inside had amazing barbecue
CONGRATS ON 20K BRAJ!
Thank you so much man! and hopefully they still have some of this on tap when you get back into town!
@@TheBruSho See you next week!
Love all the cameos in this!
Didn't the brewer use to be on ur channel

Haha yeah I know its pretty wild. I need to get a canner so I can package some up and send it out!
Great opportunity and brew!
Congrats. When Maurey sat down on his chair, I couldn't help imagine him as Raul Di Blasio sitting before playing his piano. 😁😁💯🍻💯

This makes me very happy thank you!
Very cool! Love the show!👏
So so cool! The scale of everything is nuts but the thing that really got me was the jug of Fermcap. I use 6 drops!
AWESOME video Trent !
I have worked in a craft brewery for 7 years. Glad to see you had a chance to experience it.
Beer looks delicious and such a cool opportunity!! 🍺
Amazing vídeo for an amazing recipe! Cheers 🍻
So awesome! Great work.
I'm all jelly. Good to see the guys and that they are a success. Good looking recipe Trent. Well done.
Awesome! Congrats Braj!
Now I gotta make it out to BoxLab!
@@TheBruSho Definitely. It would be awesome to have you over.
BTW where did you guys get that açaí concentrate?
@@akajorgecastro I think he got it as part of a group buy with other local breweries. I believe the company was Western American Foods
Awesome video!!! Well done!
Amazing!
Will try that recipe ! It looks amazing.
Looks like it was an awesome day and a great beer. Definitely jealous.
LOVE THIS TRENT!! Congrats on making an amazing pro beer! Looks like I've got to make more friends like Maury and Trevor 🍻🍻🍻 Cheers!
Haha yeah definitely doesn’t hurt to make brewery friends!
Awesome Amigo !!! cheers! 🍻🍻

Another great video with good insight. And thanks for the scaled-down recipe. Looking forward to having a go at it.

super cool video! its awesome to see what its like to brew on a pro system. Cant wait for the day I have a chance to hop on one of these

Yeah!! Cheers from the land of Açaí, Brazil!! I will try this recipe for sure, thanks!
Obrigado for watching!! 🍻
Love the videos, thanks for the recipe definitely going to be something I try. Only thing I didn't see on the recipe is when you add the puree. Thanks and keep up the great videos
Thank you! And purée gets added in the whirlpool or flameout
Congrats Trent! Your video production is awesome and always informative! Happy for you 🍻
Awesome vid! Always enjoy checking out the pro side of things and you do a great job with the brewnamatography! Cheers!
Haha I’ll have to let my wife know, she filmed a lot of the footage on this one since I was on cam! Thx!
This was awesome and totally agree with using Mosaic to complement berry flavours, its such a wonderful marriage
Love that hop! Cheers Nikita!
Didn't realize you were in SD! Hey neighbor!!
I'm going to visit SouthO next week - hope to try this beer
Let me know what you think!

@@TheBruSho for sure, I just checked the tap list and it’s still there, I’m hoping it will hold out!
I’m more jealous of the homebrew/General brewing community love in California. Nice.

Dang thats tough, but at least your finding a way to do it! Cheers!
Looks great. What pressure was the fermenter set to?
Wish I could try the brew!
If you cant make it out you'll have to try and brew the smaller recipe!
Great production, Well articulated and full of information. Your vidyas are always pleasant. Zum Wohl
Thank you for that, just trying to pack a lot into as short of vidya as I can!
What is the purpose of the spray ball in the boil kettle ?
It’s a CIP or “clean in place” ball for easy cleaning after brew day
Do pro brewers adjust water profile as well?
Yeah and they use all the same stuff homebrewers use
Did I miss it? What's the ABV?
5.4% easy sippin
I'm sure being mutual friends with CH helped a little too.
Without a doubt!
dang im jelly dude, looks like so much fun! How long did it take to chill?
Thats a great question, not sure. I know they have a super efficient glycol chiller and all the fermenters are lined with it so it probably didn't take too long.
I don't see any links to the recipe...
First link in description
My local area stopped the pro-ams with covid and as it is half the brewers go "you're brewing this"
Thats unfortunate. I really enjoyed it and much more of a collaboration. It’s a great chance for the brewery to try something different but often they don’t want to take too many risks on us little home brewers
