This is not a knock at Owen because he's one of the best dancers to ever exist in Irish dance and obviously he executed this set well, I just think the choreo is bloated. I get that jamming so many beats in is a show of skill but, at a certain point, it takes away from the musicality that makes Irish dance so special. There is something so satisfying about hearing a clear, defined beat crafted to compliment the specific music of a set dance and that goes missing when you're squeezing in so many.
