If you have already requested a verification letter in the past, email them asking for a reprint. It is much cheaper! R100 for a reprint and first-time applicants pay R400 ( this is the cost at the time of me doing mine).
Once you mail SAQA, they will email you all of their info, banking details, and costs and ask if you will self-collect or use third-party collection like Postnet. They will also provide you with the contact details for Postenet.

PCC Application:
You will be required to go to your closest SAPS to complete an application form (as we require the original application), take fingerprints, and make payment of R160 for the PCC while you are there.
Thereafter, you will need to either courier or deliver your application, fingerprints and POP to our store, for "Itumeleng (legalisations)" attention (which you can send from your closest Postnet for R99 - Please send the waybill number for the courier once sent). I will make a record of your application once received and arrange with our driver to deliver your documents to CRC, which we charge R200 for. The PCC process takes 6-8 weeks, and once finalized, we collect from the Criminal Records Centre for an additional R300. We will only request the payment of the R300 once we have confirmed receipt of the PCC in hand.
Should you require a PCC urgently, we charge R2500 per application to expedite a PCC within 7-15 working days. We will provide the account details when we confirm receipt of the application form, fingerprints, and POP of R160, along with a copy of your ID. Then, once the POP has been received, the documents will be handed over to our agent to begin the expedite service.
Please read information below carefully!
DIRCO Service:
We charge R400 per DIRCO submission.
The R400 includes the submission AND collection of documents at DIRCO.
Kindly complete the attached cover letter with the country you are legalizing for, with your name and signature at the bottom of the page. This document is an indication to DIRCO whether to Authenticate or Apostille your document.
We submit to DIRCO every Tuesday and Thursday. Documents will only be submitted if we receive all requirements (cover letter & POP) by 4pm on the day before we submit to DIRCO (Mondays & Wednesdays).
We provide confirmation of the submission to DIRCO, as well as the waybill number your document/s are submitted under, in order for you to follow up with DIRCO. Unfortunately, we do not follow up with DIRCO, as this has extended the processing timeframe when we have followed up in the past.
DIRCO are currently taking 30-45 working days to process documents, and the process cannot be expedited. We do not have any involvement in their processing, and we DO NOT receive any updates on the progress of the legalisation process at DIRCO. We only receive references when they have documents completed, for us to request an appointment to collect the documents under the references provided.
We assure you, we will confirm once we have collected your documents from DIRCO, and have them at our store.
We would like to request your patience at this time as DIRCO's process is completely out of our control. We are just here to ensure that your documents are submitted and collected at DIRCO safely and correctly.
No withdrawing of parcels once submitted as per DIRCO.
Courier:
Please see our courier options below and kindly choose how you would like to receive your documents once we have received them back from DIRCO:
Please see our courier options below and kindly provide proof of payment.
PostNet to PostNet (2-3 working days to any Postnet in South Africa) - R99.00
OR
Courier to Door (1-2 days delivery nationally in South Africa) -R210.00
OR
SELF COLLECTION FROM OUR POSTNET BROOKLYN STORE OR THIRD-PARTY COLLECTION AT NO EXTRA COST.
If you would like us to courier the documents back to you after the DIRCO process, we advise you to make the payment for the courier services along with the DIRCO service, so there are no further delays after we have confirmed receipt of your documents from DIRCO. When we confirm, we can provide you with the tracking number at the same time.
Embassy:
Should your documents require Attestation at the embassy once received back from DIRCO (your agent or employer will inform you if you do), we do have an independent agent who can assist with this. Please confirm so I can provide you with her contact details.

Please do that ma'am I need to see your video
Hi,I am in Ghana love 💕
Hi Ann, please make a video how you moved from SK to China regarding documentation and costs ❤
Definitely! ❤️ I’ll record it this weekend
Hi, thanks for the video. I'd like to know, do I have to do medical checks for the application?
Hi Sinesipho,
Your medicals are needed 3 times:
1. When the school you are signing with applies for your work permit
2.those same medicals will then be submitted when you go apply for your visa
3.you’ll need to do medicals again once you get your China
Hi Annah. I know it is a lot to ask but can you please show us what your demo and intro looks like.
Hi Nolly, I will def do a video on this :) Thank you for watching!
Thank you Anna! Where do you start job hunting once all the documents are ready?
Thank you in advance for your response!
Hey Keikantseng, look on the South Africans in China facebook group. There are recruiters that post jobs on there as well as fellow South Africans who share recruiters and job sites. One of the job sites I like is Dave’s ESL www.eslcafe.com and www.echinacities.com
I would say when you are at the DIRCO stage start job hunting :) or you could even start sooner if you would like and just advise the recruiter how far your docs are :)
Hey Anna, girl I really want you to know I love your enthusiasm on helping us ✨🔥honest angel 😇 is how I personally view you.
I don't know why this is often overlooked but most people (ESL UA-camrs) forget to mention this, the *Passport* is also a document needed especially if you don't have it neh.
Hi Sanele, Thank you! your too kind! It's not that we forget it, we just assume that it goes without saying - since you are flying to another country we assume you guys have at least this basic knowledge that you cant board flights without a passport. But I guess this is a wrong assumption to make maybe people forget or they do not know as we don't all have the same knowledge or background.
I'll add it in my description box :)
Hi there! Great vid! 😊
Originally Im from Hungary but having british cirizenship also (dual citizenship).
My degree (master in law n political scienses comes from Hungary).
Degree from a non-english speaking country is also accepted?
What job can i get there?
Thank u forward!
Hi there, thank you for watching! there are many other jobs outside of teaching. I however have not done much research into it so I wouldn’t be able to advise
Hi Anna I did my introduction video today and sent it to my recruiter. I still feel scared that maybe I ddnt do it well, but I have faith. I wanted to ask maybe I am looking for a job too early because am still processing my papers but hopefully I want to travel in August. I am using an Agent though
Hi Nosindiso, Thank you for watching! Wishing you all the best! Im sure the recruiter will come back to you soon with possible schools for you to interview with! I also went through an agent :)
@@AnnahPokubye thank you for responding. She gave me a list and she said I should give her my expected salary, my start date, preferred schools and cities though am still doing a research on that and your help would be much appreciated especially on cities and salary wise. Thank you
@@nosindisocindie6171 hey hun! I would start at looking what offers are out there salary wise for someone in your shoes (experience, qualifications) - check out www.echinacities.com/ you’ll see ESL teaching posts on there where you can get a good idea of earning potential. As for the city, Google where to live in Chiba as a foreigner you will get results with top cities to live with lots and cons - go with the city that gives you what you are looking for ❤️ hope this helps!
@@AnnahPokubye thank you so much love. Much love ♥️❤️. Can you please help me with my wechat verification.
Hi Annah.
I would like to inquire on how you sent your fingerprints to SA, the packaging to prevent smudging etc. Also did you did your PCC in SK as well?
Hey Jeffrey,
My agent is SA said I could scan her my prints which I did. As for how she got things done for me in SA I have no idea 🙆🏾♀️ as for my SK PCC - it’s only necessary if you are in SK for longer than a year
@@AnnahPokubye thank you for your prompt response. Did you share your agent in one of the comments or did I miss it?
Evening, did I make a mistake by laminating my mind original degree? I read somewhere that embassies do not need laminated degrees. do they (embassies) require original degrees when applying for visa?
Hey Unathi, they don’t need laminated documents and they don’t need the originals. They need the apostilled degree. Remember you email SAQA a copy of your degree asking for a verification they then produce a verification letter which you take this letter to DIRCO who will apostille it. This then goes to the embassy 🤓 hope this is clear. Please read the description box and see the screen shot I shared in the video for the steps 😋
Hello Annah, DUMELANG.. Question, with the TEFL you said it must go to a law firm and then high Court. I thought it only went to the High Court, yhooo modimo 😑😑
It’s a lot right!!! 🙆🏾♀️😪
Hi Annah,
Thank you for this video. I would love to use your services
How do i go about? Please assist. I am ready to send you my fingerprint form.
Hi there, I don’t have a document service myself. I used an agent back in SA 😋
Hey Annan…. I wanted to ask if do you still need to quarantine when you arrive in China?
Hey Mfana, no need to quarantine anymore 😋
Is authenticating and apostling at the high court the same thing?
I usually see/ hear people say authenticate it there(high court) after notarizing but this apostle word is throwing me of
Sorry yes, you are authenticating at the high court 😋🌸
Apparently we're not allowed to notorize documents at the high Court anymore.
Also, did you go back to SA first to do all this documentation?
Hi Sarabi, I had an agent back in SA who did my documents for me 😋
Care to give a breakdown of how much you spent?
Just incase the agent doesn't rip me off.
I'll be moving from SK to China.
I would've loved to go home first but decided against it coz I'm forfeiting my flight reimbursement considering I'm leaving before the year ends...oops but very necessary
Hi Annah just a random question why did you choose China over Dubai , I saw your comment on someone's Dubai's vlog😘
Hey Pilisa, not random at all 😋 with Dubai I found they wanted 2 years experience and a teaching license. 2 things I don’t have yet 🤓 but working on
@@AnnahPokubye Oooh I see, noted hunny
Also why go through the SAQA process again, couldn't you use your old docs?
My first initial documents are with EpIK and you don’t get those back. So I had to email SAQA for a reprint and redo all my other documents for China 🇨🇳
It's so good to see you smiling again, we are glad you are settling in well and being back to your old self.
You explained the process in so much detail and with great enthusiasm!!!
Thank you for having us covered, always! You are honestly the best..🫶🏾
Thank you for watching hun! Ms road to 2K herself!!!! ;)
@@AnnahPokubye yes hun💃🏾💃🏾We are doing this!!
Hey do I need to send a certified copy of my degree to SAQA or can I scan it and send it as it is
Hallo beautiful lady 😊
Hi Bashee! :) Thank you for watching!
@@AnnahPokubye you are very welcome. You are very attractive and your presentation is very interesting.
Well explained. Thank you madam🤍🤲🏾
(Side note; The Chinese consulate in Sandton wants the contract also when one submits their pcc and degree)
Thank you for this note! 🌸 so one should start job hunting once they are at the dirco stage. That way they have an address by the time dirco docs are ready, Are they not able to process without an address?
@@AnnahPokubye yes! That’s correct. They want the address, school/company stamp and the contract details, from the contract.
The time you take to explain is so great. Thank you so much! I’m going to send you Robertson’s spices one day🥹😂
Awwwwww thank you!!! I definitely miss spices from home 🥺❤️
