Glad you enjoyed this. I certainly had fun with it. Such a nice kit, not many parts but quality over quantity. The only down side was the loose fitting wing sections to the fuselage but, hey, I've had worse kits 😁
Thank you for your kind words. I've heard so many different opinions on invasion stripes (they were, they weren't). All I need to learn is how to get them a little more parallel on models. Mine all turn out a little wonky 🤣😂
Another nice build! I did one of these a year or two ago- I used the kit transfers/decals for the stripes, which went on surprisingly well. Masking to paint stripes on a tapered fuselage is always going to be tricky! You might find SteamGeezer's Rebel Alliance Tomahawk video useful from about 21 minutes onwards, he shows how to get the stripes parallel & equal.
those invasion stripe are perfect mate, in real life they were rushed so they were not always perfect so its fine if they are not perfect as it make model look for realistic
Another cracking build Paul, love the half tree masking, and the spitfire bottle top pure genius. Now your ‘erbs’ for grass anything in particular oregano, marjoram, thyme? Your display stand must smell great. Special thanks to Dean or we wouldn’t have this fantastic weekly entertainment. Keep the good fight mate. "cùm iad a’ tighinn" PS not commented on the last few builds as I have been on holiday, and typing on my phone is a pain.
Thanks again for your kind comments. I do enjoy them as they make me giggle. Glad you enjoyed the video, I certainly enjoyed making this one too!!! The herbs are Thyme and it all smells wonderful until the scenery glue sets 😁
It's quite alright if invasion stripes are not perfectly spaced and perfectly straight. In real life, they were painted rather hastily with anything that was available, so the ground crews didn't really care about them being perfect.
Thank you for your kind words. Very much appreciated I've seen so many opinions on this; they were painted by hand, they were painted in a factory..... I'd just like my stripes to be a little tidier! Practice makes perfect!!!
Had fun watching thanks HP

Very nice! Invasion stripes were hand painted so they must not be perfect!

@@HPaulModels In my humble for ground crews I am sure as long as they were visibly seen at distance..is all that counted.
Very nice build, well done!👍👍
Thank you 😊

I'll have to watch that one, I think I may have missed that one. 🤦🏼♂️

Thank you - I was hoping for a set of straight lines though. More practice needed I think 🤔

They were not very good at the real ones, either.
There was not enough time to do them very well.
