It works great except all my photos are on my iPad and idk how to do what you said to do with the photos
I tried copy and paste but the photos come out super blurry
So I’m having to just put a random photo in when I relist on my laptop like you said, then I have to go to my iPad, delete the pic that’s with the new uploaded listing, find the pics, upload then update the listing
I can’t use the app because my iPhone and iPad are old and doesn’t support the new mercari app updates
It’s making listing super difficult to have to list from my computer then go to my iPad for pics to update the new relist listing
My iPad is super slow

So happy this helped! Sorry for the delayed reply. So the fastest way to get screen shots to your computer is airdrop. Thats if you have an iPhone. But Good new, the resolution has improved on the desktop. So we now open our old listing, click on the pictures to enlarge, and then we get our screenshots on the computer. Not sure if this will help but hope so!

How do u get phone scteenshots to pop up on your pc?
So with Apple you can air drop from your phone. You can also use Google drive where you upload pictures from your phone and then access them from your computer. Hope this helps
Do you find a particular time of day is better to list an item?
Not really, we just find that daily listings help. Whether it's 2 listings or 20, it's the daily activity that helps 💜
How did u get your screenshots from phone to comp
So it all depends on what phone you use. We use iphones so we airdrop our photos onto our computers. You can also email them to yourself. Truth is that there are crosslisting services that help you relist faster.

@@SellQuickShipQuick iPhone 11 which is a nightmare to photo with. "Drag and Drop" has been eliminated from their apps and I have tried and tried to do 'screenshots' after watching your video, but doesn't work! My old iPhone 6 was 100% easier and better. Thanks for your info. I relisted over 25 items already and having some response already. Except for the stupid iPhone, your info was excellent!!!
Screenshots should be the same as your old iPhone.
Push the volume up button and the side button at the same time. Hopefully that works.

Desktop app never works. No matter what always asks for a card. I've put it in millions of times still doesn't work, I hate using phone app takes too long.

@@SellQuickShipQuick Listing anything at all on the desktop webapp always tells me i need to enter a card although my primary card is already entered from the phone. Makes no sense lol.
I appreciate this video, I've been selling on eBay for 15 years, 18 mo on Posh and just started on Mercari 2 months ago. I just can't figure out how to right click on my Mac (it's new and I came from a Dell).
You’re welcome! We’re glad we can help 💪💜! As for your Mac, you need to click the apple at the top left corner, select system preferences, then look for the Mouse option and then you should be able to actively the “right click.” Hope this helps!
Thanks for the video but this makes no sense. Who is going to manually redo their inventory of 400 items+ every few weeks? This is crazy stupid.
Yea agree it's not the most efficient algorithm for Mercsri to use. That's why we crosslist on to multiple platforms to avoid relying on just one platform. Thanks for watching! Appreciate it!
I'm embarrassed to ask but here it goes (don't laugh): how do you get the screenshots you take on your phone to appear on your desktop so you can just drag them to the listing?

Not an embarrassing question at all! So there are different ways of doing it. We have iPhones and use air drop between our phone and Mac. You can also connect your phone to the computer and download the pictures that ways. Another way to do it is by emailing the pictures from your phone to yourself, then opening the email on your computer. Hope that’s helpful! 💪💜

I have the same question I have a iPhone but my labtop is a chromebook. I don’t really wanna have to send pictures through email for my listing but do you think that’s the only way to get Iphone pictures to my chomebook?

You're welcome and thank you for watching! Yes, relisting will make your old listing look like a new listing and it will help bring it ups in search. If ya'll have an iphone, do you have problems with the photos coming up at HEIC format instead of jpeg when you put them on your mac?
Yes if you air drop you might get them in HEIC. Tiffany directly connects her phone to avoid that. I will air drop and then I will select 10-20 pics at a time that are HEIC and open them in preview (MAC) then I select all images and select export. A window opens with options and you can choose to
export you pictures to be jpeg. It can get annoying but still quicker than us using our Canon Camera. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!
Once again guys, thanks for the informative video. I've been struggling with an easy way to relist on Mercari. Odd though.....I have never seen the price guage/chart that shows what the average price is or if they think your price is too high. Maybe it's only available when using the "sell one like this feature"

When you edit a listing price in Mercari does that bring the listing back to the top the same as promoting would do ?
Hi! No it doesn’t. We recently tried that along with “deactivating” and then “reactivating” the item to see if it would bring our item back to the top of search but it didn’t work. The item would show up as “recently updated” but when we went to search for the the item after doing that, it wouldn’t show up at the top of search

How long do you let things stay on before relisting?
We try to relist 10 of the oldest listings everyday. Since we have over 1200 items, that normally means an item gets relisted every 40-60 days. Roughly since we don't always meet our daily relist goal
I have a question. Let’s say there’s a liker and I send them an offer but they don’t buy. Two days later another liker since along. When I send another offer does the second liker gets the lower price? It appears that I can’t send “tiered” offers like I do on Posh. Am I correct?
Yea you’re correct that’s a con with Mercari. That’s why we suggest letting an item get 2-3 likes before sending an offer on Mercari. Hope that helps!

Why do u guys ship on your own?
Shipping cost vary from between location as expected. In our case, we find that based on weight, dimensions, and shipping address, we can find cheaper rates on Pirate Ship. This isn't the case every time, but for the most part our shipping cost averages out to be same as shipping through Mercari. The other benefit we have found is that when people request to bundle, we just tell them to send an offer on all items they want. We rarely have to build bundles since we offer free shipping. Buyers can just submit their offers on all items they are interested in and then when ready we can pack it in one box and upload the same tracking on the different purchases. Not sure if that helped explain or if it just made it more confusing lol. Thank you for watching!
This is a huge waste of time to copy/paste and reupload pics. Just get a cross posting app because the time you spend on all of this is actually losing you money. Time = money. In all the time you're spending on relisting 1 item, you could list or relist 10 items... Seems counterproductive...
Thanks for watching! We actually do use vendoo but this way of relisting is for people who may be hesitant to pay $50 a month or have few items in their store. Relisting like this would take us 2 minutes in the past for mercari by using the desktop so we wanted to share this tip with others who may not have started a crossposting service or for those with limited items who don’t need a crossposting service. But you’re right, time is money so evaluating the tasks in your business is essential to growing.
@@SellQuickShipQuick Check into Reseller kit. You get 50 free listing a month and you can pay to have more if you want to. You pay by listing of like 100 or 200. Rates are reasonable and no high monthly fee.
It's the biggest waste of time ever. Who is going to manually relist their 100s of items every week or 2?????? Nobody would. Had I known this I'd never let me wife waste all that time listing all her items on there.
Well, like the comment above says, they offered this info for folks who were not wanting to pay for x listing software and needed to know how to do it manually. If you have hundreds of listings, then crosslist software is what makes most sense
