I was thinking the exact same thing.
I'm still falling down the "banjo metal" rabbit hole from a few days ago. This one is deep boys.
@@bgpapa4178 I do enjoy a bit of the old banjo metal
Space banjer. Appy Ani. Now dub banjer.

@@abigfavourentertainment Oh yeah, we're listening to it again in the office this morning haha.
UA-cam recommends the best! This fed my country/southern self
I love the sound of the banjo.
This combo of genre's is dope. 🔥☯️
@@karloaquinde3476 Glad you're enjoying it, thanks for the comment and encouragement!
My mom used to dance to this like it was yesterday. Oh, this was yesterday
@@justinwatch I'm glad yall are enjoying it
Don't think my husband knows about this playlist/set, or even the channel yet. We share everything all the time especially music together. And he would absolutely have mentioned or shown this. He hasn't! Can't wait to show him and his mom and they will literally be dancing to. She teases him a ton on edm, electronic stuff, dubstep, and the festivals themselves. Check she picks on me too. But sometimes- like Skilled & The Doors, she enjoys it all too. This is so in her lane perfectly! Cheers all and to dads and moms and families and friends a celebration summer we all made it and survived this far lol .
Lol even though I’m not a fan of country music really, I picture myself groovin in cowboy boots for the ending of that first track😂 as a fellow EDM lover, I approve👍🏾
As both an EDM and a country fan welcome! Glad you get to enjoy a little taste of bluegrass!
It's ai-generated slop.
@@smergthedargon8974 still sounds good
@@Nathansrandomstuff-hw6nn I don't care - it's worthless. Slop.
@@smergthedargon8974 you do you man
When I arrived, I was skeptical. My skepticism is satisfied now.
Edit: I feel like this type of music would fit well in a Space Western, maybe as the music that plays when our hotheaded American friend and his heavily armed little ship go off half-cocked to take on way more than a 50-ton fighter could hope to win against, and his friends (the rest of the cast) seize on the enemies' shock to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. "Is _that_ why your callsign is Cowboy?"
@@Amigo21189 Thanks for the comment. I was inspired by HardSpace Shipbreakers. It was very a very different soundtrack but it made me think of futuristic banjo. I can definitely see this fitting into a space western like Firefly or Cowboy Bebop
Whoever created this is a man or an artificial intelligence, he has a sense of rhythm and taste👍
@@Kpy4yBep4y I made love with skynet and this is what happened. I like usio, it's fickle but you can get some good stuff with enough patience and knowledge
I would love to see a set played like this with live instruments! That's the genre we're missing
Same, that would be wild. Thanks for the comment
Check out dirtwire and moontricks. Both pretty similar to what you're asking for. Its a blast to see them live.
@@Kejton dirtwire is great. ive still yet to see moontricks live but ive been trying to figure out how to create music thats live instruments doing similar to this mix but with more of a reggae riddim.....which bluegrass is almost a double time reggae meter to it.
This is bizarrely good. Its strange, but good.

I just learned about a new weird genre - and it kind of works! Bouncing to the first track RN
I agree! I always thought of Bluegrass as having a lot of energy already
I so understand. Well, I been partly wishing for this or something like it for awhile. So I knew it would look and sound great or was pretty sure. Started bopping and bouncing as soon as it came on indeed. Cheers!
Fantastic! Thank you so so super very much!

Very interesting mix. My ears and brain are so confused but enjoying it :)
@@NathanChambers Sounds like I checked all my boxes. Thanks for listening and commenting
This is the sickest new music I've listen to in years. This is motivational music too. I hope there's going to be more of this new genre. This brought something else to mind I have never heard, but after hearing this makes me wonder what bluegrass and funk would sound like. The mixing is superb.
Glad you like it. Thanks for the comment and suggestion, I will be putting out some more mixes in the future, bluegrass funk mighty be on a list
Genres that I did not think I've ever putting together but here is two other things I had never thought of putting together... Oriental harp and a banjo both are very close in their sound yet both are very distinct
I tried to mix up the instruments a bit. Really mix up the bluegrass in the spirit of fusion

Could you try doing Irish folf dub step ?😂
I make no promises but I will add it to a list. Thanks for the suggestion
Lots of different styles/genres can work together, it just takes an artist willing to try it and that can manipulate the two genres so they work best together to create something.
Other combos I have heard is bluegrass metal, techno on a didgeridoo, metal/rock/dubstep with a hurdy gurdy, Mongolian throat singing combined with metal music (band: The Hu), and many others.
So keep up the good work and keep trying new combinations.
