Scotland in BR Days : Dingwall

Having displaced Class 26 and 27 locomotives in the far north of Scotland, Class 37s continued to dominate both passenger and freight services towards the end of the 1980s. Dingwall was a good vantage point in which to record the typical traffic to be found at this time. Despite appalling weather, our camerman braved the elements to capture the scenes in the station area on this cold and wet January in 1989.
