Bridging Coral Island and Sea Of Mirrors, a second album titled Holy Joe's Coral Island Medicine Show, will also be released on the same day, bringing James and lan Skelly's grandad a.k.a The Great Muriarty back into the fold for the narrated post-script to one of The Coral's most successful albums to date. Holy Joe's Coral Island Medicine Show will have a never to be repeated, one off pressing on black vinyl, CD and cassette.

I think people just don't have the patience ot sit down and truly listen to a song anymore. Ievery think is so instant and at your finger tips. If the song isn't instant for the first 30 seconds they move on to the next song. This is one of their best songs for me, it's amazing, so much depth.
Oh man, this is such an easy listening song to chill out too, it's so 1970s for me and I love the classical element and the voice-over at the end. The strings realy ad quality to the song a real summery feel to it.
Yeah, I get that too, so floaty man and welcome changes within the song too. I've listened about ten times now while doing things around the house and it's the pefect summer song. Well done the Coral another gem of a song.

It's so deep man, it's got meat on the bone the type of song that triggered memories from my childhood growing up in the 70s. I love the retro summer feel of this brilliant song from the Coral and the prog elements too within the song.

@@meurigjones9770 I love the strings, reminds of certain TV programs from the 70s 80s era. A lot of those big tv programs had those big 70s strings as intros and during the program itself. Doesn't this narrator sound like Morgan Freeman?
It's amazing, I love the 70s retro feel to it and it really sounds like a good few songs from the brilliant Super Furry Animals album Love Kraft.

Quality from the boys once more a very laid back summer breeze on your face a welcome wind a song on the water as you float along. A bit of prog too with an unexpected change of tempo as the song bleeds into strings.. Sounds like they use a lot of sounds that were around in the 70's.

Yeah, it's a brilliant summer song for me, so laid back. It get's better with each listen. They realy caputre the colours of the feel of that ear in the 70s. I love the retro feel as it sparked off a lot of thoughts from my early childhood in the 70s.

Got Jamie Webster tomorrow night , then Noel Gallagher twice at the end of July , waterboys in town (Liverpool ) and deacon blue as well to look forward to these next few months

They were called The Open from Liverpoook and they had to brililant albums called "The Silent Hours and Statues."

Loving the Coral, I'm sure I saw them about 20 years ago In Ireland somewhere but can't remember. I must have been stoned that night or stupid drunk.
Loving the new songs from The coral, they're so imaginitive and mysterious which is what I love about them, I do wich that two that left would return because I think someof their latter albums haven't been great. but this is surely a return to form for me.
@@ste2442 Never heard of Jamie Webster, is he new? The Waterboys were very well received in Ireland. Another briliant band that didn't make it from that era was a band called Whipping Boy. The lead singer had mental health problems so the band split up. Deacon Blue were good man, a Scottish band I believe but I really liked them as a teenager. I loved another Scottish band called Idle Wild who has a cracking album called "100 Broken Windows. " All their albums are great really.
