Materials needed:
-Mirror and Harness from e90 donor car
-Torx bits
-Pick handle

I have the mirror. I got it cause mine broke in the back and I couldn't adjust it. I should have gotten the harness.

Those mirrors cost around $100 in Europe. I've seen US spec ones from around $40+ on Ebay, but with shipping fees the final cost comes up to $100 anyway.
Yup, they're $30 at picknpull junkyards here. You pull parts yourself.

I got mine from the junkyard so it's the whole harness plug and play except for 1 wire. BMW sells retrofit harness so you probably need to figure out the wiring www.getbmwparts.com/oem-parts/bmw-rear-view-mirror-retrofit-wire-set-61120434330

@user-jl1gm2rc2s yeah in the video that one brown wire, I had to take it out of the original wire harness plug and put it in the new wire harness plug.

@@accordfreak1what does pin 10 do? on the socket of the mirror (brown/black) because both with and without it everything works for me?
The wire that is not connected at 4:58; where is it connected?...I missed that part....
two wires to the rain sensor/ module then 3rd wire to the mirror
What was the retrofit kit that you used for this I just recently got a mirror like this and I need to know what to grab for it to work
You just need the harness from the junkyard. Connects from the mirror/rain sensor to the map light. There's only 1 wire that leads somewhere else preventing you from taking out the harness completely. You can take it out from the original oem plug and plug it into the replacement from the junk yard.
Is this from an 05 ranger rover ?
No, e90 bmws which had this mirror option.
