You made a good decision moving there as the condo Jst as modern as DMare but more spacious n within easy distance of Jomtien n Patts. Got nice estuary views too on a reasonable floor level. You always need storage space….and I’ll be staying in a 60sqm condo nxt yr in Jomtien. Good heads up on the store as looks ideal for outside furniture etc…hopefully get to 10k subs soon!!🙏🏼🤞🏻😎

Hi Jase I rented a very nice condo on Airbnb very near Whale condo, the downside was the street dogs that roam the area, Very nice condo better than the last one. I would personally prefer the area around Bangsaray.Good luck

You new place looks fantastic .I share your concern about high floors .I did once live in a Condo on the 6 th floor ,but had a strong rope stored in case i ever needed to leave by the balcony .The 6 th floor would be my limit .On another occasion at that same Condo the lifts were out for 2 days ,but it was still possible to use the staircase .

Great new place congrats, really like the layout of that condo with a more spacious lounge area which i prefer. Drifters food is great and you also have The Sea Falcon and Stinkfish bar within touching distance plus the other beachside restaurants eg Glasshouse. Enjoy 🙂

RE Floor level: My preferences -- The Goldilocks zone is floors 4-8. -- 1, 2, and 3rd floors receive the street noise. -- 1, 2, and perhaps 3rd are easy for unwanted guests ( Mosquitos and burglary, etc.) -- 1 through 8 are easy for Fire escape (stairs and in larger municipalities the ladder truck) -- Above the 8th floor are usually premium prices (For me, the added view doesn't justify the added expense.)

I should not have said that 😁 Modern condos if you ask Juristic will say no cooking outside . Gas bottle or naked flame a big No No . I have used a electric grill BBQ on balcony at modern units but you only need one neighbour to complain to Juristic about cooking smell . Best see how the land lies there .

Jason, very nice and looks like a great value. 60sqm seems like about the right size for a long term one bedroom. And I hope viewers recognize that you have given them a real pearl of wisdom. Don't accept asking price but bring something to the table rather than just asking for a reduction. Like you, since 2018 I have always offered 6 to 12 months cash, which reduced my security to one or no months and allowed acceptance of the 20-25 % rent reduction. Maybe you should branch off from showing condos to guiding folks to get their best deal on their best condo. Just like you have just done at Whale Marina. Appreciate the kind words and yeah it’s a good idea to offer upfront, Thai owners in general would rather leave their condo empty than discounting the price, might have something to do with “losing face” but when you offer upfront it is attractive to them. Jason another thought, your video is a perfect example of why buy when you can rent. The flexibility renting provides to move along or to move onward and upward, without hastle or a huge financial impact.
Both condos are nice, looks like more to do around the new one you are at, i like fishing & boating so the one you are in now would be a better choice for me !
Amazing place, Jason! I can certainly see why you moved from Bang Saray, although that place and Del Mare was extraordinary too. I have always loved Bang Saray, the beach area, and also the quiet beach in between, at Ban Amphur. But Na Jomtien is also a great location. Congrats! And what an amazing rental price you got. Unbelievable! But one question: On the other side of that water, where the Jetskis are parked, is there a way to easily get over there now? I`ve been there a lot before, eating at several restaurants at that soi, but as I remember, we had to drive out via Sukhumvit again, and then take the first right to get to that soi. There is a 4 or 5 star hotel there too, a very nice area, I believe it is the Pinnacle Grand Jomtien Resort. Isn`t that the "tarm" and end of that soi we see on the other side from your condo? Question two: Have you discovered Ban Amphur yet? A few kilometers before you get to Bang Saray, after Na Jomtien. There is a small soi leading to the beach there, and I love that place. More quiet than most, with many condos for rent and sale there too. Great condos just at the beach, very spacious, but a bit older. You might check that out. But I got sick my third day in country. Pretty much derailed my plans for most of the two weeks I was in Thailand. As for your condo I think you made a brilliant choice! I saw your earlier video on Whale and it was on my short list of places to check out. The unit you got is especially good: the way it's furnished, the view, THE PRICE! That's a winner for sure! Great video and very educational. I've been to Pattaya but stayed at hotels. Wasn't too sure about transportation to move further from the center. Is Bang Saray connected to central Pattaya by bus or some form of public transportation? Apartment is beautifull by the way and costs half what it would cost in Europe 😀

Nice condo Jason and good luck with the 10K 👍 quick question, can you rent a condo for 6 months if you only have a 30 day tourist visa ? Thoughts are to pay 6 months up front and travel around, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos etc and return revert now and then.

I get Bang Saray and why it's appealing for some people. Although, for me, it's probably a few years away from a development aspect. Whale Marina makes more sense all the way around. Moreover, 60 sqm for that price is TERRIFIC, even with the advanced payment. I love the big shower! Congrats to you on getting what your heart desires!😁 Btw... So you've moved to Whales 🏈🏴😅. I was very prepared to hate this place after Del Mare , but it looks like a bigger condo and like you said on the 4th floor not the 31st . I still prefer Del Mare and that swimming pool and those sunsets but each to his own and I wish you good luck with the place .

Jason, very nice and looks like a great value. 60sqm seems like about the right size for a long term one bedroom. And I hope viewers recognize that you have given them a real pearl of wisdom. Don't accept asking price but bring something to the table rather than just asking for a reduction. Like you, since 2018 I have always offered 6 to 12 months cash, which reduced my security to one or no months and allowed acceptance of the 20-25 % rent reduction. Maybe you should branch off from showing condos to guiding folks to get their best deal on their best condo. Just like you have just done at Whale Marina. Appreciate the kind words and yeah it’s a good idea to offer upfront, Thai owners in general would rather leave their condo empty than discounting the price, might have something to do with “losing face” but when you offer upfront it is attractive to them.

Amazing place, Jason! I can certainly see why you moved from Bang Saray, although that place and Del Mare was extraordinary too. I have always loved Bang Saray, the beach area, and also the quiet beach in between, at Ban Amphur. But Na Jomtien is also a great location. Congrats! And what an amazing rental price you got. Unbelievable!
But one question: On the other side of that water, where the Jetskis are parked, is there a way to easily get over there now? I`ve been there a lot before, eating at several restaurants at that soi, but as I remember, we had to drive out via Sukhumvit again, and then take the first right to get to that soi. There is a 4 or 5 star hotel there too, a very nice area, I believe it is the Pinnacle Grand Jomtien Resort. Isn`t that the "tarm" and end of that soi we see on the other side from your condo?
Question two: Have you discovered Ban Amphur yet? A few kilometers before you get to Bang Saray, after Na Jomtien. There is a small soi leading to the beach there, and I love that place. More quiet than most, with many condos for rent and sale there too. Great condos just at the beach, very spacious, but a bit older. You might check that out.

There must be something going around Thailand, Jason. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. I was there two weeks ago -- I had every intention of buying you lunch! But I got sick my third day in country. Pretty much derailed my plans for most of the two weeks I was in Thailand.
As for your condo I think you made a brilliant choice! I saw your earlier video on Whale and it was on my short list of places to check out. The unit you got is especially good: the way it's furnished, the view, THE PRICE! That's a winner for sure! Here's to 10K+ subs any day now....

Great video and very educational. I've been to Pattaya but stayed at hotels. Wasn't too sure about transportation to move further from the center. Is Bang Saray connected to central Pattaya by bus or some form of public transportation? Apartment is beautifull by the way and costs half what it would cost in Europe 😀

Nice condo Jason and good luck with the 10K 👍 quick question, can you rent a condo for 6 months if you only have a 30 day tourist visa ? Thoughts are to pay 6 months up front and travel around, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos etc and return revert now and then.

I get Bang Saray and why it's appealing for some people. Although, for me, it's probably a few years away from a development aspect.
Whale Marina makes more sense all the way around. Moreover, 60 sqm for that price is TERRIFIC, even with the advanced payment. I love the big shower! Congrats to you on getting what your heart desires!😁

So you've moved to Whales 🏈🏴😅. I was very prepared to hate this place after Del Mare , but it looks like a bigger condo and like you said on the 4th floor not the 31st . I still prefer Del Mare and that swimming pool and those sunsets but each to his own and I wish you good luck with the place .
