- Just like everything else on our car , AC fans and blower also need time to time cleaning for best air flow , so how we know that out car ac blower or fan is dirty and needs cleaning ? all of this work can be done at home with some basic hand tools
there are some very classic signals by which you can be sure
1. car ac blower making more noise as compared to airflow
2. dashboard vibration while ac is on
3. not enough cooling from ac
if you have anyone of these problems then chances are that you car too needs a blower fan cleaning
performed on a volkswagen polo , process identical on vento , jetta , passat , skoda fabia , skoda rapid , golf , octavia , superb , some models of audi like a3, a4 , a6

This video was very helpful.. my ac blower motor makes rattling noise whenever car hits a pothole. It was very annoying. When I opened the motor the shaft was covered with dust and minor rust. So I lube the shaft and clean the motor. Now the sound is gone and the fan speed is slightly increased. All credit goes to you sir . Thank you ....

Thank you for this video clip. I tried to clean the louvers of the central two vents using a cloth in my Skoda rapid. Alas! They got dislodged and fell inside! Can you please guide how do I retrieve the louvers that fell inside?

Sir any good spray lubricant will work , a decent brand like castrol , motul , etc

Yes sir , after removing the fan blower , evaporator is clearly visible and accessible of the right side .
My climate control is not working the display shows nd buttons work fine but blower fan doesnt rum nd cold air doesn't flow....plz suggest wat to check for ?
Sir sometimes the blower rotary control gets messed up , and doesn't respond , if everything else except the blower control is working then its the only suspect

Sir both are identical in nature polo or vento , even same car vento just has a boot .
Petrol or diesel , that totally depend on your choice , which exites ypu more a diesel or petrol !

Bro,in my vento when i press the recirculation button the auto mode cuts off and when i press the auto button recirculation mode turns off.its never working together.recently change flap motor also.Your advice please.

Sir they are OEM in 2nd generation polo and vento on highline models , and can also be installed in 1st generation

Brother how can i tight up my glove box latch for vw polo it has become very loose and rattles irritating its closes qnd open just fine but its just it has too much of play big space
Sir for glove box , latch can not be adjusted but the rubber bumps on both the top ends can be , they have a hole in the middle , and they have a T15 screw inside , you can just make them a Little loose as per your need

Sir, I am planning to switch to k&n stock air filter of vento tdi dsg is it worth & change in performance..Plz replay.
Sir , there is no diffrence in performance apart from the induction noise , and even a compromise , because its proved that k&n filter are not good at filtering fine dust , whereas the OEM filter is quite good at it .
One more disadvantages is that k&n uses oil on filter which starts to kill the MAF sensor .
So sir i would not recommend it .

Yes , that bottom and top bearing needs to be greased , they have gone dry and now making screeching noise . , Exactly same process needs to be followed
How did you remove motor from housing? That part was missing in video
Sir it was just removing the screws , and pulling the motor out .
@@yourDIYneeds i dont find any screws in the motor and housing in laura. I have already taken it out from car . Now need to lubricAte the bottom screw which am unable to do with out removing the housing

It is something which happens only when ac is on , and that too on 900-950
If its happening at heater as well then i suspect there us something wrong with your climate control unit , (which maybe turning ac and heater on at same time)

2. Condenser wash hoga , kuki wo heat ko bhar ni nikaal pa raha
3. Electrical fault ( sensor ,ya climate control unit me problem )

I have an issue on my tata safari dicor 2011 model without pressing accelerator paddle rpm raise at 1500 to 2000 rpm what was the problem and fuel filter warning lamp will display in instrument cluster how to fix this problem
Sir fir the light on tha dash you have to flush out the sedimentor ( I have a video on the channel ) and for rpm issue if it doesn't get resolved by the sedimentor then we have to check the throttle position sensor , which is located on the acclarator pedal itself

Sir heater only start to work after the car is Fully warmed up . And if its still not blowing hot air , then we need to check the switch-over valve in the system , which shifts the valve to hot air

Bro. In my VW Polo, air is not blowing in the Middle two vents. But , from the other each vents location at the two ends Air is Blowing. What could be the problem?
Sir its air circulation vent , which is inside the HVAC unit , maybe the flap is stuck or the motor which controls the flap , gone bad . ( In automatic climate control system)
If it's manual then the wire may have got loose from the anchoring point .

In my polo the airflow from left and right vents is little less than the center ones. We can feel the difference between the flow when ac blower is turned on

@@yourDIYneeds actually the system on the Audi Is way complicated that the Volkswagen, so I don't think it's as simple as the one you showed, so probably will get it done from a professional

I'm using a 2012 polo and there is "tap tap" sound when I switch on the key. It will last for one minute and then disappear. But when I turn on the ac and the recirculation mode is off, it start to sound. I showed it to ASC and they said the blower should be replaced. Can I repair it myself without replacing..?
Also, there will be a smoke or chemical smell in the car when I run the ac in recirculation mode..I did 3M cleaning but still I can feel the Smell when I go for long trips...could you please help me to sort it out..?

Sir the tap tap sound , is ac recirculation flap opening and closing to verify its end to end points
And the smell you encounter can be of fuel , as the tail pipe is facing downward and on idle the smoke emissions from the tale pipe gets trapped under the body of the car , if the recirculation flap is not properly closed then the blower unit will pull air from outside and you will experience a smell , the thing we can do is circulation flap motor calibration , it can be done via VCDS or Obdeleven , and flap and the sealing surface for the flap needs to be cleaned as it collects alot of dust , so that it can seal against the opening properly .

Sir it can be because of blower , clean the blower , flap assembly and lubricate the blower bearing as well

bro, what could be the problem if recirculation flat motors is not fully functioning . the lower vent is not working due to flap motor is not moving . any tips to fix at home as there is lockdown here .
sir , have to check first that flap is not stuck , as it can sometimes due to dust accumulation , then the motor which rotates the flap will be on the suspect list , and in some rare cases wiring issues can also be the reason .

भाई मेरी vento के climate control पिछले 1 साल से करंट नहीं आ रहा जिस कारन मेरी गाडी का ac और blower दोनों काम नहीं कर रहे हैं. भाई कम्पनी कह रही है के आपका dashबोर्ड खोलना पड़ेगा जो मुझे मंजूर नही भाई क्योकि गाडी नई है भाई . भाई में यह जान ना चाहता हु की अगर हम अपने blower मोटर को direct 12 volt करंट दे दे तो क्या blower चल जयेगा ? उसको on off करने के लिए अलग से dash बोर्ड में स्विच लगा देंगे. ऐसे ही भाई क्या ac का compressor direct battry से 12 volt देने से चल जयेगा ? भाई में खुद यह करने की सोच रहा था. के direct ac compressor और blower मोटर को battry से करंट दे के उसकी २ स्विच dash बोर्ड में लगा दूंगा भाई .भाई क्या ऐसे हो जयेगा? गाडी में?

Hey man, so i did the same process along with removing the blower, removed the bushing etc. However after reinstalling everything, the blower motor is giving off vibration in 3 and 4 fan speed. What could be the issue? Can i fixx it?
Sir you didn't clean it properly, every blade of the blower needs to be cleaned , even if there is 1gram of dust on one side , its sufficient to make the blower disbalance and induce vibrations
