This little heli just keeps on ticking !! One of the guys out at Bennett has one that he has crashed multiple times and he just walks up and flys it again and again . The damn tail motor was bent , and you couldn't even tell at all while it was flying . Made me get one ! Tuff little helicopter !!
People are saying it looks like a clone of an OMP M1, well it's a similar size heli with direct main drive and motor driven tail, how different do you want it to look?!
@BeauLuftenburg,.. I noticed u mentioned OMP M2,.. The Eachine 180 is very similar to the OMP. Alishanmao has a video comparison on utube, Chek it out if u get a chance. It helped me to decide.. those lil eachine helis are great to fly,.. Some yrs ago I buy Eachine p51 mustang, mini plane 450mm. Tough as nails. So when I seen the E180 i knew it would be De Bomb ! Not crazily overpriced either.. HAPPY FLYING FOLKS..✌😎..

It's not the m2 size its the m1. and this is still the test flights if you read in the description he says he's using no gov and throttle at flat 90% so in that case yes it would be easy to bog down.
I honestly have 0 experience with the OMP line up so I can't quite give the answer your looking for. I don't know if I'd use the term A LOT for bogging but what I'd expect form any micro Heli doing a constant 3D routine.
I think Align need to work on the CG. Look how much the battery need to move forward. Suggest redesign the servo arrangement. Check out how OMPHOBBY M1 did it.
I imagine this is going to compete with the omp heli, ive flown an m1 and absolutely loved it. i wanted to get one but seeing this i might just wait, do you have any ideas on what the price of this guy is going to be? if its close to or cheaper than omp i know what im going for.
@@bearlaceration8971 I don't think it is, looking at the servos the positions are quite different to what you would see on the M1, also the head design looks different. They obviously look kind of similar, but I wouldn't call this a direct clone, unlike the Logo 200 in comparison to the M2.
Be nice to see one flown without it looking like the flyer is having an anurisum ! What about the hover or the smooth flying ? What about the majority of flyers being sport flyers ? Just saying
Most folks are not gonna hang around and watch a 4 minute video of a 3D capable micro heli hovering my friend.😀 I suppose he could have started out with some slow close in rotating hovers?
@Ben Sprink some people get involved in scale flying. It would help the new people or ones thinking about getting into the sport. It's intimidating to the newbies.
Define cheap? I used a Flysky Fs-is6 (40$ on Amazon) on my 450LM, but upgraded to the Spektrum DX6i for about 60$ more with a better interface and range.
That's an incredible and capable looking little copter.
I'll be keeping an eye open for its release!

Judging by the 2S pack with balance plug only, it's sized like the OMP M1. The M2 is a good bit bigger and 3S.

The camera is on a head mount so it follows at whatever I am looking at.
