I am actually apart of the band and was apart of Requiem and we chose that to be our show because it represents how the Rouse band was seen as a school that would amount to nothing and never be amazing, and how we proved everyone who doubted the band wrong. That’s why Papyrus the show from 2021 was about a thrown away idea never thought to work at all indicating how everyone else said the rouse band will never be great, and Requiem was about rebuilding a destroyed and abandoned cathedral just like how everyone in the band built up the band that was thought to be nothing; also all the soloists said they wanted to march, but they couldn’t as for the show they were supposed to be the angels at end helping us build the new cathedral, and they had pretty hard jobs because they had to set up their equipment on the platforms to where it and themselves wouldn’t fall as the platform was moved. Also everyone in the band loved the show!
yess, and soloists keeping their sound steady as they were moved. i remember a lot of reps on the band pad where johnstone was harping on it being perfect! they did so well
HIIII! i was in this show! i can assure you our band LOVED this show and everyone i talked to was always excited to go on and show everyone our masterpiece i wish i didn’t fumble that flag at the beginning tho lmao. first time that had ever happened
I go to rouse and we loved this show
