Thanks so much u guys, Your timing is always perfect as I have a badminton tournament starting next week. Really appreciate all the effort and work towards the consistency of videos.
Thank you so much Dalton! And good luck with the tournament 🤞🏼
Same here mate, thank you badminton insight
Goodluck!
Congratulations on winning the German Team Championship! I was the line judge asking you for a photo. I’m happy for your win! Cheers
And thank you for being so kind with me ! :)
Thanks a lot 😀 Can you send us the photo via Instagram or something? We want to keep all photos we take with subscribers! Good job with the line judging and keep working hard with your badminton 👏🏼👏🏼
@@BadmintonInsight Thank you ! I just sent you a DM via Instagram. Cheers !
OMG. I cant tell you how useful these will be! We always run out of ideas in our drill sessions and these are perfect. Thank you!
You’re very welcome! Enjoy doing them, and enjoy improving 😀
Believe me guys. 10th exercise (net reaction) benefits a lot. Also, it's very good way to warm up before match.
Definitely!!
Thanks so much guys I always struggled with my doubles now i will get better 😊
Great content guys!! Funnily enough, this isn't too far off in terms of what I do when teaching and training, will definitely take on board with the mid-court drills as I don't do them enough. I would love to see practices that involve 3,4 and even 5 people on the court, as it can be just as fun and effective. Keep up the great work!
That’s good to hear! You can do these practices with 3 people as we mentioned in the video. If you have 4 people 2 people can feed and 1 person can work and then the other can work whilst they rest.
We will also we showing doubles routines in the future which have 4 and 5 players on the same court
Thanks for the videos; I look forward to these every week 👍
Thank you so much Alex 🏸 Glad you're enjoying our weekly vids!
A really helpful one this one and love the humour too!!
Thanks a lot, glad you think so 😀
Thank you Greg and Jenny for sharing these great practices ! Like many of us said before, the last exercise is soooo effective ! Being able to defend calmly at the net and not lifting everytime is so powerful at my level. Love you guys ! Cheers !
You’re very welcome! Thanks a lot 😀😀
Thank you Greg and Jenny! This will be a great addition to my doubles drills.
You’re very welcome 😀
Thank u so much guys
Yesterday i had my state I lost in quatar final but i learned a lot from your videos , things you shouldn't do when playing, be calm , warmup ,
Thank u
Thank you so much guys and congratulations on winning the German Bundesliga championship with BC Wipperfeld today! I just saw Jenny play live in Stuttgart. Well done! Enjoy the day :)
No way! You should have come and said hi! Thanks a lot 😀
@@BadmintonInsight next time ;-)
packed with helpful practice advice. even if you're familiar with these exercises the execution and emphases are very helpful. lay off, loopy, and turns are UK-specific terms. dont worry! they dont mean anything embarrassing in the US, though they could give those of us from across the pond a little pause. lay-off seems be an efficient way of saying, come to mid-court and play the net area. in china, where i train and play, it's called fang wang (放网). thanks for a beautifully produced, compact, and helpful video. i think the best feature is that we see you on the court doing while you are explaining, and the more footage we see of you guys working, the better the viewing experience is-- cuz it's great fun to watch you guys practice and play
Thanks a lot for the comment! 😀 Yes we do realise some words won’t translate that well! But often we don’t know what else to call them so hope people can understand and add them to their ‘badminton dictionary’!
Thanks for the 10 practices!
And congratulations on integrating your sponsor smoothly and subtly. Many content creator just throw the thing in the viewer's face, which usually triggers frantical 'skip 10 seconds' on my side...
You’re very welcome! Glad you enjoyed it and didn’t skip 😀😀
Love this vid, helps me so much
That’s great to hear 😀
Jenny's jump smash 👍👍I love practice #4 mid court control great tips thank you
💪🏼 you’re very welcome - thanks for the comment 😀
A great video! Just one question since I don't know any multishuttle exercises from training: The difference between "mid-rear" and "mid-court control" is that the "feeder" stands more in front doing "mid-court control", so that the feeder can play more downwards and by that putting the worker more under pressure?
Very nice and easy to use
Best video for doubles played
Thanks a lot
Thank you 😊 Glad we can help!!
perfect vid to watch before a tournament
Nice i will try these everyday
Thanks for this. I have my 2 final tournaments(cities and districts) so this helped a lot for me
Good luck!! 😀
Thanks
Thanks for the upload
You’re very welcome 😀
You guys are amaaazinggg~

Now this is a good video to boost your game
Thx for the great video
Thank you so much Sue 🤗
Favouriting this video 💪
Could you do a video on drives? Either doing a forehand or backhand grip and I cant do more than say 5 in a practice situation
Thanks! 😄 we’ve already done a video on the backhand drive if you missed it!
You always get me what I only wish for 🥺
Nice video guys!! 😇🏸
Thanks 😀😀
1:19 i felt insulted...im the partner 😂
😂
Thank you guys for the valuable information🏸🇮🇳🙏👌🔥
Thank you for watching! ☺️
Wow this would help me a lot
Thanks badminton insight 😄
You’re very welcome 😀
This video confirms to me what I already knew. I lift way too much. Rather than risking playing the net or getting to the shuttle early enough to push it, I'll do a high lift to get out of trouble. I rely on my defense too much, which I get away with at the level I currently play. But I would get pumelled at the higher level.
Do you two offer in person coaching, or are you too busy with UA-cam and full time training? I bet you could charge a premium over others in your area based on your channel alone.
Glad it has helped! Unfortunately we don’t at the moment however we are planning some coaching weekends so keep an eye out on our social media channels for more information 😀
@@BadmintonInsight I'd travel from Scotland for that. I bet those will sell out quick! Thanks for the videos.
Hi! Could you do a tutorial about cross court net shot on both the forehand and backhand? I believe your videos would help us all greatly!
After your request we have released a video on the cross court net shot today! Hope you enjoy it 😀 Here's the link - ua-cam.com/video/1p0Nv5-90e8/v-deo.html
@@BadmintonInsight Wowwww!!! Thank you so much
Could u guys do one but on singles i would apreciate it 😃
These videos are the best part of opening youtube every week

Great video!, Any suggestion for a new Badminton racquet my current racquet is the original Yonex Muscle Power 22 from "2002"!
Thanks 😀 that’s crazy, that was Greg’s first ever racket! We’d recommend the thruster F - we did a video on it a few weeks ago!
@@BadmintonInsight oh that's amazing, what a coincidence! surely will look into the suggestion Thankyou.
@@BadmintonInsight BTW can you guys suggest something more pocket friendly something around 60-70£
Can you please make a video like this for singles. You guys are doing really great with this channel and you guys are inspirational players. Love your game and work❤️✨.

Hye Badminton insight . Next video can you guys do about footwork ?
I have been absent from court following a family bereavement.
Any practical advice on how to slowly get back into the groove. I played for 1 hour earlier in the week but was sluggish, mistiming shots etc.
Even coming back after 3-14 days after no badminton you'll feel like you are playing bad. Get plenty of rest and good food, be in a good mood and do a decent warmup to feel comfortable and confident
There are my some friends who plays same as me but they play twice a week and i play 6 days a week and when they play after 5 days also their game is still same no downs and when i play even after 1 day i can feel drastic change in my performance can you tell what's the problem of my consistency
0:43 this actually gave me motionsickness haha
Haha 😂
LOL that forward-backward-diagonal camera trick
top and short for jane is really cool than skirt. (4.42 )
Greg's white short(bottom) should be more shorter like 1 or 2 inches from knee.
if both of you can consider on this, your appearance would be much better.and keep doing guys;this video is amazing this time.
Haha thanks for the feedback… 🤣🤣
@@BadmintonInsight ♥️
Nice
Hi badminton insight....plz one vdeo on techniques of how to hit the shuttle...when it goes over our head in the backhand side....please please 😔😔😔...it's so tricky to control or hit the shuttle...it's been a problem in my gameplay and many others too
We already have 2 different videos on the backhand on our channel which will help you 👍🏻
@@BadmintonInsight thanks
Post videos regarding how to avoid injuries and Knee pain
Please make a collaboration video with Ali Abdaal!😂👏
Haha, we’d love to 😆🙌🏼
Eat, Sleep, wake up and watch one tutorial from Badminton inside ❤👌🙌🙏
Haha, great routine 😄
That ‘sorry that was trash’ was even worse 😂 smh my head
😂😂
Badminton insight should we smash from the back of line or not ? And if not than why not to hit smash from back of line plz tell me 🙏🏻🥺 this will help me
There’s no right or wrong answer! You can smash but because you are right at the back it’s easier for them to defend. Of course you might want to smash if you still think you can win the point, and also to ‘keep them on the toes’ but instead you might use more angles and variation in attack!
@@BadmintonInsight hmm this will help me thanks😉
brb gonna find a duo partner now
Love from INDIA 🇮🇳😍
👋🏼🥳🤩
Jenny and Greg, what about the intensity of these drills… how long between switching players ? 2-4 minutes ?! Really am curious about your programs actually, how it looks like and written out in detail…
We often do 25 minutes continuously, take 5 minutes break, and then another 25 minutes 👍🏼 hope this helps!
@@BadmintonInsight so that is like all these 10 exercises 2,5 minutes each ? That is already 25 minutes, you are with 2 players ??
@@larsheijblom5418 No, as we wrote in the summary graphic at the end of the video we will often choose a few exercises and repeat these. What we choose depends on the focus of the session 👍🏼
Jenny is fast in typing test! Only 91WPM for me who plays computer for 5 hours a day
Haha thanks! 😃
Hello im fans from Indonesian
👌🏼
the box game looks interesting but I already have bad lifts where I keep lifting short, so im a bit worried it'll make my habit worst
Don’t lift then! It might also get you really thinking about how much power you are putting on your lifts and actually help you as a result!
Bro I get To much pain in forearm and biceps while playing badminton for a long time, And it hurts me so much that I don't even play the game please tell me what should i do ???.....🥺
Rest and see a medical professional for advice if you can!
@@BadmintonInsight okay 👍😄
Any home practices?
Check out all of our first videos on the channel! There’s lots of ideas there!
"we often use a bin.. hopefully your partner isn't that rubbish.. sorry that was trash" 😂😆
Hahaha hope you liked the puns 🤪🤣
That was my favorite part of the video.. so funny 😂 great video as always!

Oooh someone just beat you to it!
I have a question: How do I know if I'm better for single or double?
It depends on your strengths and weaknesses, and also which you enjoy more! 😃
7:10 ok but the mum thing is quite unexpected 😭
"sorry that was trash" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂
1:18 I know what you did there; it wasn't garbage though (or was it) :p
😂😂 maybe a little!
103 wpm is insane i feel like i can type reasonably fast and i only got 71 wpm
Haha you best get practicing then! 😜
my performance decreased because I didnt play for a week, how do I get my performance good again?
Can you make a video on singles I really want to improve my game 😔
What specifically would you like to know?
My tournament are coming up soo if you can help me and give me tips to win
And thankyou for replying to my comment😀

Love you guys 💖❤️❤️💖💕
Thank you so much 🤗
I’m not that slow! 🐢
😂😂
damn 2 waste jokes in 10 seconds. impressive
Haha thanks!
Hi guys ... I love your videos. One suggestion ... Please do not give 10 tips in one video... It makes for a quick and exciting viewing . But it is hard to put it in to practice after the overload of information. I suggest you take a couple of these practices and go a little more deeper. It is ok if the video is shorter.
Thanks for the feedback! You could always watch it again or in 2 parts if you wanted 😊
Great suggestion - maybe just do part 1 with 5 tips plus a demonstration of each variation
First
Congrats 😜
How do I dieverse my game in lockdown??😶
Check out our first videos we ever did on the channel - they were all about how to improve your game whilst at home! (But sorry for the terrible camera quality/ our terrible ability to speak to a camera haha!!)
Most importantly.. get a girlfriend equally skilled at badminton 🎉
It is useful!! Haha
💞👌🙏
Can you two please add someone who is right handed?? 💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It’s the same routines 😆
Nice
Thanks!
