I like distorted Ignis dimension’s ost because at the beginning it plays short but melodic notes to hype you up and then at the end of part 1 there’s a huge climax which switches to the weird part of the ost for the distorted part of the map. Truly creative.
June 2023: I hope that Distorted Ignis Dimension gets added to FE2, the map looks so good and worthy of its difficulty. July 2024: Whoa, with this new OST, it is now fully eligible to be highlighted. The only good maps sadly. Golden Passage and Luminous Reservoir are basic and forgettable and Distorted Ignis Dimension feels like it should’ve stayed in CM. TJoH and CB at least had unique themes and nice animations in them
*What I rank these 6 highlights* 6th: Luminous Reservoir (B Tier) This one’s kinda weird. The gameplay is not special and kinda repetitive, but at least the OST hits and the colours are nice. 5th: Colouring Book (A Tier) Colouring Book is pretty creative. The details were nice, the OST is good, but the layout feels sorta empty. It’s my only nitpick to the Colouring Book, so it’s not B Tier. 4th: Golden Passage (A+ Tier) This one’s pretty chill. The OST slaps, the theme and the details were amazing, and I actually enjoyed this map despite the pain. 1st: The Judgement of Hephaestus (SS Tier) Once again, the Insane difficulty cooks. The OST is at its best here, the map is really intense and engaging. The details are also amazing, and the gameplay is great. I remember playing TJoH on FE2:CM and it was FIRE!

Pretty great batch. The only map i would say isn't my cup of tea is Luminous, but even then its still a decent map. I'm gonna keep 5 of these maps silent because all of them were a perfect option for September highlights. But for me, Forest Facility has to be one of the most infuriating maps to play. Everytime I make a jump it makes me fall off, there is a lot of inconsistencies throughout the entire map, and this map overall, is definitely underwhelming. And it's shocking for me to believe that the person who created Active Volcanic Mines, a map that was a mission to beat, and when I did, it grew on me. You never know this map can still grow on me. (edit, it never did) However, the detail could do with some work, the gameplay is mediocre, and the enjoyment I had with this map was not enjoyable at all. The only positive thing I can say about this map is the OST, that's the only thing I can say positively about this map. Rating: Detail: 7.5/10 Gameplay: 4/10 Enjoyment: 2/10 OST: 8/10 Overall rating: 21.5/40 (Not approved)
