I've been subscribed to your channel for about a year now, love hearing your tunes, as they are the same kind of music I like. You are very talented and creative!
Cool song bro! I'm still trying to find a way to ad in all parts of instruments and vocals, with more than one or two drum parts in it. It does seem hard on R8 with only 8 tracks
Use only one drum track. Record others 1-7. Master out, open new project. Import master. Takes up 2 tracks, have 6 new tracks to play with. Repeat as many times you want. 1-7 is tons. 2 vocals, 2 stereo guitars, 1 lead, bass, still a track left. That's 7 tracks left for anything or the rest of the drums.
@RustyWeaveStudios tranks for the advice, I've never tried doing it that way. I forgot to mention, some songs have clean guitar x2, then bass, then dirty rhythm and a solo track as well plus 2 vocal tracks..one main and an overdub as well..so normally it only leaves one main drum track available.. but I'll try building the songs your way..see If I can get more drums that way. Thanks again mate 👍
I have an zoom R8 and me and a friend write music on it, 2 guitar tracks, a bass, 2 vocal tracks and with bouncing together we found it still doesn't leave alot of room for more drum tracks for sequencing in more parts to make the drums interesting...is there any way you know a good way to be able to make the R8 give you more available tracks to make whole songs? And if so, I would really appreciate one of your tutorials good sir!!

This tune, for example, is 3 guitar tracks, 5 drums tracks. 2 main drums and 3 fills. All done in one project.
