The best part about this comeback in particular is the fact that as a rookie group and being from a small company ON TOP OF THAT, ATEEZ & KQ took such a risk masking their visuals because they WANTED our focus on their choreo and performance. There are no pretty visuals (a bleak warehouse as their ONLY setting or even their looks) as such that say that’s why their fans stuck with them. They’re not this good because they look pretty, but because they’re ACTUALLY good. It’s for their music and for the high standard they challenge themselves to achieve when it comes to sharing their performance! Which is ALSO why the HAT goes and the MASK Stays!
You can literally categorise ALL of these boys as Main Dancers 🥹🥹✨✨
This proves that visuals in the kpop industry are really emphasised and are don’t need to be the main focus when there is so much talent behind all the idols in kpop. Ateez has proven that having talent and not following stereotypical kpop norms can lead to amazing success and look at them now they just preformed at Cochella. Atiny are sooo proud of them.
This is Halateez's debut. They got the name Halateez from this song. The outfit is Halateez outfit which you've seen in other songs like Deja vu and Answer. Also this choreo is one of the hardest choreos in Kpop as experts say cuz the moves are krump inspired and very hard to execute without making it look awkward. it's insane of them to release a song with their faces covered not long after debut, most kpop groups wouldn't dare do that! 5:27 that megaphone is so iconic, i think it's in guerrilla too, that it's even displayed in Grammy Museum along with Crazy Form outfits and some other stuff. 5:57 San in the center has broken so many headsets on stage cuz he goes soooo hard with the choreo there haha. He even broke it at coachella. It's kinda like tradition now lmaoo.

Well done spotting the lighting effects going on during this vid! Usually no one stops to notice just how hard it is to light a black and white video. You have to worry about it being too dark or too light. You noticed the changes in contrast (how light and how dark a part was) and you noticed the impact of introducing a primary color at the end and how it changes the whole feel of the vid. The red filter added by the spray paint effect really was amazing. You've got a great eye for color and light. Well done.
