Oh...the lady bug next to the caterpillar is cute too!!
Outstanding... I love the way you talk about how the paint behaves etc. Your vids are more than just watching someone pour... you educate. I appreciate that. Thanks for doing as you do.
Nalla Miller totally agree.
This is one of those videos that I watch over and over and over... because I absolutely love this painting so much. You have several that I watch again and again.
Am I crazy? Lol.
I just love the color combination. Great job.
Hi Karen....if it has been a year since you were filming in NY then it has been a year that I have been watching your videos bc that is when I found your channel here on UA-cam. During this past year you have entertained me, educated me, uplifted me with multiple giggles, and now you are going to paint a gift for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What alternate universe am I in???!!! This doesn't happen in my life. I am VERY thankful. I do not know what it means for you (as far as your Instagram career) that you have 20K followers but I do know that you have EARNED it. I, as well as 20K others, am very happy to be following and exploring your creativity with you. Much love to you ... and I mean it.
I really enjoy listening to you talking about life while doing spreadsheets at work, about your cat, about closed captions, about starwars.. so relaxing, and I can look at pretty pours when I'm done. Thanks for the company Karen :)
Wow that is so awesome. Love it. Tada!!!! 😆
Hey Karen love love love your work! By your comments u r finishing up working hard for the money!
I recently retired and am now busier than ever. I thought I would have more time for the love of art.
However it's been a struggle finding time. I hope you enjoy your amazing art as much as I enjoy watching
Your recordings. I too struggle with rain and humidity with my hair as you mentioned in another recording. ❤️
I am a laughin my a** off when you say I love that capillaire bc.don't look like the bady parts because we all know why. 😁Yeah I actually like this one to. That all painting is really really nice outstanding job Karen. Can wait for another one.
Looks like coral...pretty color combo!
This may be the best ever ❤️
Hi Karen,
Congratulations on this being your last week of working. Hello Retirement! Even tho I didn't understand when you said, "back to where you started". Your painting is beautiful, with all those yummy colors and cells. I just love it. I also learned two things, what a sandwich pour is and what a Caterpillar looks like in a painting. I have heard you and a few another artist mention them but I never saw one. Thank you for being a wonderful artist, a great art teacher as well. You say what you are doing, what you are looking for, also about composition, and most of all you never fast forward as far as I know. Thank you so much
that looks totally amazing! I don't know who in the world would give a thumbs down to someone providing education for free on UA-cam.
Jill Sauls Oh you just never know...
Opened find for me today. Weird. Great color combo.
Love the colors. It turned out amazing
I love 💕 the colors and the great cloud of Ellis in the white... t think the composition turned out wonderfully.
Loving this Karen! I’m a big fan of negative space and so glad you left some!!
OMG!
I'm in lust!
🤣🤣
I put the closed captioning on and had another adventure in viewing altogether! Love the pour!
Isn't it hilarious? When I did it in the restaurant the first time, I was laughing so hard, everyone was looking at me!
Bella! Lo adoro! Beautiful, I love it!
Magnificent!! I'm absolutely in love with the color combo in this one and the way you poured it on the canvas was perfect! I love Jenny Post and I am looking forward to seeing what you both come up with. I learn something every time I watch you, so thank you so very much for all you do for us. I hope your last week of work is awesome and congratulations! Again much thanks Karen!
I love this painting! ❤️👍😍
Karen, this piece is beautiful!
Almost New York, retirement coming up, the world is changing. I feel a lot more great art is coming our way. 😅 Great pour and gonna keep an eye on them dirty pours. See if we can find a pattern. TFS 💖🎈
Love it
Awesome 👏
I love it
Great job it’s beautiful! 😍
I watched those cells sneakily slide off the edge, lil buggers!
Bellisimo! 😍🥰🥰😍😍😍
Fantastic!
Gorgeous painting
Amazing!
🥰 I love it!, Always entertaining to watch and I don’t mind if your videos are long so I was kind of sad it was over. Love watching each time.
I love this one with all the cells. The colours are fantastic. Take care.💖💖💖
You rock! Great pour, love the colors and especially love the negative space because it holds the paintings together, if that makes any sense... Love this one, Ta Da is right!
Interesting composition. Great colours. I’m glad you were able to save the octopus tentacle...🦑
Have a feeling this is going to keep changing for awhile. Can’t wait to see it dried! Wonderful job! 😊
Roxi Cole It dried perfectly!!!
Very beautiful! Pouring is so misterious. Two flip cups with the same colours and turn so different when dropped....love the way u sandwich them....
So beautiful. One of my favourite.
As usual a beautiful outcome Karen! I really enjoy your videos. Been away for a few. My daughter was just diagnosed with leukemia in March so it is nice to get back to painting!
ShaunaPester Shaunaispink praying for your daughter!
@@debisjoy8017 Thank you so much, I appreciate the prayers!
This is honestly one of the most beautiful pours I've ever seen. Fantastic job chicky!!!
This is beautiful ❣️👏👏👏By the way, I LOVE your hair❣️
So beautiful, my goal is to one day be as great as you and get these kind of results
Love it 😍 beautiful, gorgeous!!!
It is really really beautiful and the Colours combination fabulously goooooood
Hi Karen, glad it is your last week of work, this was gorgeous pour as usual, take care xx
I love this one wow!
please show this piece when it's dry. Also after you resin it. Amazing!!
👍🏼
You can see it dry in video #134.
Oooh so nice Karen. I love this pour. Gorgeous.
Gorgeous as always🥰
💜💜💜🦋
Gorgeous !! Love the colour combinations ❤️
🤗👌🏻
Such a fantastic colour combo in this one, it’s a pity the Pebeo DYNA green/blue gets lost though, I’ve had the same problem with it in various types of pours..Anyway, this is fantastic Karen..Love watching your older stuff😊💕
👋 Karen. Really pretty. WoT you liked the 🐛!!! 😲. 👍 Karen NZ
Did it again
HI Karen, I've been watching you for months with subtitles, because of the time difference it's early morning and I don't want to wake himself. The subtitles are hilarious, it's one of the funniest things I've seen. Love your paintings, but then again I always do. Much love from Kerry, Ireland, oh and by the way Crowley's are everywhere, not just in Cork. You should come visit your relatives and maybe we could meet up for a coffee hahaha
Cat Conlon Thanks Cat! My maiden name is Cronin!!
@@WaterfallAcrylics Karen sorry, I couldn't remember it. At least I got some of it right hahaha. Well if come visit the Cronin's and the Crowley's, we could still have coffee. Have a great day.
Okay, gotta check out the subtitles for a giggle! How do we get them?
Question.... My cells seem to keep getting poured off because they were tiny. Does the amount of spot on make a difference with the amount of size of cells.. The top of my spot on broke, so I've been using a baby medicine syringe. I've been switching up my pouring medium, but just not getting anything keepable. It's really disheartening. Sometimes I wonder if I should just throw in the towel. Ugh!!
renae bopray Dont give up. If the cup is full (9 oz) I use 4 drops per color.
Congratulations! WOW, WOW and WOW, this paintaing is awsome!, Very interesting colors. I have a little question about your mixture you use to mix with your color, you have 6 onces of PBA, what is it?
Johanne Lepage PVA-Elmer’s Glue All
Thank you so much!
How do you get all those cells??? I've tried several techniques and never seem to get the cells like this. Can help?
Hi there..perhaps this has been asked ...but the Treadmill oil you used...in which colour/colours did you use it in? thanks
Spot On Treadmill Silicone in all colors except white. Just a drop or two.
It’s amazing!, is that silicon you used?
Yes Spot On Treadmill Silicone.
Hahahaha im haunting your older videos. I liked this one! Also why didn't you move to NYC, I mean none of my beeswax ( you brought it up) but whats obvious is it worked out for the BEST. I love that you just paint on your kitchen island..I agree with so much of what you say, like... you're so weird hahahah and I also talk to, plead with, and even threaten my cells or paint colours....I though it was JUST me. Good colours. I'm gonna work on some of the blooms YOU do with my OWN style.. FRECKLES heheheh so cute. MY how we have grown in 4 years...I had a year off due to someone sleeping in my studio. PS your hair cut if so fab.. makes you look younger but when it grows out they can be sexy. Bobs...ok thats all...THANKS for lessons.....😊
I did move to NYC! Had to move home because the schools couldn’t accommodate my daughters special needs.
@WaterfallAcrylics oh cool. I have a similar issue. But we are lucky to have a house! These are scary times. I actually always thought you were in DC. LOL. Cool. Have YOU ever taught at any of these conventions they have? AND I promise to leave alone for the rest of September!! LOL ..just curious cuz you're one of the OG acrylic pour artists!🙂
Hi! Yes I did the first FAE, and am co-founder of the Fluid Art Boutique (3 events so far and planning the 4th); plus taught at PourCon!
@@WaterfallAcrylics WOW thats cool I'm in Canada's capital (already getting nightime flurries warning- can you BELIEVE it?!!) Oh SORRY I wrote that I'd leave ya alone. But this IS cool info!!
I will look it all up.I think thats actually good cuz you have a mild gentle way of 'chatting' while working. Not too over assertiveor annoyingly flippant, as some can be. I think Tammy A is another good one. You know, its a way of engaging folks natually. I've watched for years now!! I always think the paint on your fingers will drop onto a canvas; but I'm sure those videos are well deleted EH Karen?? LOL That would be FUN with a bunch of folks finally learning the spade shaped part of the pallet knife gets painted on the BOTTOM & stuff like that. No reply required, thanks for the intel....I'm even gonna search where I ALWAYS avoid, Facebook..I APPRECIATE your valuable TIME. CHEERS!!
Hi Karen! So, at ~ 1:45, I'm asking myself, why don't you just pour white onto those two corners and then work it out from there... now I'll go back and finish watching!...Okay, yeah, ya did it, good! I like this one very much, design/composition and colors! I'm so glad you let the caterpillar stay, I think he's cute ... and I like them in general, although I do get the 'body parts' aversion...the center/lower white part with the white shapes barely defined by narrow lines, think they look like bones, kinda cool (anatomy is good sometimes!) Congrats on your retirement, so looking forward to seeing more of you!!! (or maybe you should take a trip to celebrate first, any chance of that?...has Chloe been to Europe?) XXOO
Lydia Bosley no armchair quarterbacking allowed! 😄. Just kidding-forgot the corners. Europe in a year or two....seeing America first. I think Europe is better appreciated when one is a bit older. Look for the CC to enable closed captioning. ...one of those little icons near the video before you play it.
@@WaterfallAcrylics Travel ANYWHERE and everywhere is good, YAY!
Very nice pour. Was there silicone in any of your paints?
Diana Vincent yes I show it near the beginning.
@@WaterfallAcrylics Thanks!
Do you have a favorite navy blue color and if so a brand?
Waneva Cook If you watch the video before this I talk about making my own and what colors to use.
Waterfall Acrylics I missed that video. I will go back watch it. Thanks 🙏
Is this one uploaded differently? I can't open it.
renae bopray No? It comes right up for me even when I’m logged out of UA-cam. Weird. Let’s see what happens with others.
I don't think so. It opened just fine for me.
Am having difficulty hearing you. My volume is all the way up but can’t hear all of your stories 😔😢
liz mchenry it’s UA-cam being glitchy with this video. Pls try again later. Sorry about that!
